Although I still had a bit of swelling and bruising after surgery, I am almost certain it would have been worse had I not taken these, given my sensitive system. Made the experience tolerable, and swelling with fluids went down very quickly. They are just like the more expensive ones in size and flavor. That is all I know. Am on blood thinners and am always bruising, so can’t easily see results but the concept is good so I keep taking them
