This is one brute dune buggy. Awesome performance on all terrain, dirt, sand, mud, gravel and a real blast at the beach. No assembly required just charge the 2 batteries included, add 3AAA to the controller and this bad boy is ready to rock 'n roll. One of the spotights didn't work, a loose wire was the problem - an easy fix, now it looks really rad at night and the red rear lights make it easy to tell the orientation. Run time is good, speed and steering are proportions, good manual, some spare screws and a screwdriver were provided. A real eye catcher, like being out in the Baha. In my opinion this monster is not suitable for young children. With such weight and speed it could cause injury if not used with common sense and good judgement.     • A great drive! (revised review)
After receiving the RC truck, first we charged both included battery packs fully. Then put fresh batteries in the controller. We took it to the playground and drove it for a while, and it started to completely freeze and do a strange blinking pattern. We returned it through amazon as defective and the new one is much better. It's a blast! Much faster (I think the first one had something wrong with it clearly - it wasn't even as fast as the replacement). Plenty of power. It flies across the track, the yard, and even medium grass. The kid absolutely loves it. The power adjust is very handy as well as the trim and the sensitivity of the controller. Great range. We are looking forward to finding some great trails and terrain for this. ... show more

    • Wow - great customer service!
Our daughter has really liked this car. We don't like that we have to use a screw driver to get the battery in and out. Every time we use it, we have to change the battery. I assume it is a requirement to have a screw, but just wish it could be the little click tab instead. Otherwise, this is super fast, fun and easy for my 12 year old to control. So after further review, this car hasn't held up at all. We cleaned it after uses, charged the battery etc.... But the battery actually burnt inside the car. Super disappointed as wehave missed our return window and this now DOES NOT WORK. SUPER BUMMED. So, this morning, I got an email from Ethan in customer service. They are sending me over a new car, as a replacement. We are very happy to get a second chance and really appreciate the great customer service. Hoping that it comes and we have a lot of fun this Spring and Summer with a new car. Thank you Ethan! ... show more

Purchased this because it was priced right. I have more expensive RC vehicles, but I wanted one for bashing and just having fun with. So far, this thing is awesome. If you are expecting quality in the $400.00 range, don't. But for the price you can't go wrong. I haven't broken anything yet, and I hear parts are cheap.
