I started playing sudoku while recovering from long haul covid. When I saw this Bohs sudoku board I thought what a good idea. I like the drawer to keep the numbers organized. I have become a sudoku nut. I still do use some books but this sudoku board it the best. It's easier to do more advanced games. I saw some other reviews saying the quality was bad. It works for me. If you want perfection the cost would be a whole lot more.

I really wanted to find a wooden sudoku board game that was handmade with quality workmanship, but they don't seem to exist, which I don't understand. Manufacturers produce higher-end game sets for backgammon, scrabble, chess, and monopoly, so why isn't there one for sudoku? I guess there just isn't a market for them right now, but I will be on the look out for when the time comes. Anywho, I settled for this one by BOHS and it looks like all the other ones produced in China. However, the difference is that the reviews for this particular set are very positive and that was ultimately the deciding factor! First of all, it arrived VERY quickly! It was shipped on Monday, delivered to my home three days later and is in perfect condition with all the pieces. The set has a drawer with dividers for the tiles, so everything is well organized and at my fingertips when I play the game. Also, there's a space in the drawer for the sudoku puzzle book and 18 extra tiles, which will come in handy. So far I've been playing the game a lot and find it so much easier than having to use paper and pencil to solve the puzzle. No more erasing! Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and it makes solving sudoku puzzles a lot easier!

This would make a great gift. It is something fun to put on the coffee table and hope the kids will pick it up and use it. I enjoy this as as adult and my 7-year-old loves it!

The game is fun, and moving pieces is a lot easier than erasing numbers! Set-up takes a few minutes. The set board is not secure enough to move around much.
