I was honestly very surprised by the quality and thickness of this comforter set. The comforter itself is very thick, and keeps me very warm, almost to the point that I get overheated in the middle of the night (which will be great in the fall and winter months). The pillow shams match perfectly, and they are the same soft material as the comforter. The design is printed on the fabric and is not raised or anything. I really like the smoothness of it and I like that the design is not embroidered or raised, so it won’t end up showing wear. Both the outside, and the underside of the comforter are soft, so if it gets flipped over in the middle of night, you won’t notice a difference. The color was very true to the photo, and it looks great in my bedroom. I washed it once (before use) on the delicate cycle and air dried it, and there was no fading or issues.

I really like the style of this comforter. It is neutral with a subtle design that makes it suitable for just about any room. Grey-brown is exactly how I would describe the color. It is right between the two. My eldest son much prefers the coziness of a comforter over a quilt, so I ordered this for him. I am quite pleased with how nice it feels. I was able to wash and dry it without any issues, and doing so fluffed it up a little more as well. It fits well on his queen-sized bed, although I'd recommend ordering a larger size if you want it to look like it does in the product image.

But....... It doesn't look like I am going to... I got this for one of my guest rooms, the room has a very warm feel to it, with pale yellow walls and beautiful antique furniture. The picture on the website of a taupe comforter seemed like a perfect addition. Interestingly, the website warns that the color may not be what you expect based on differences in monitors, a rather uncommon warning, but in this case quite warranted. I was hoping for the image they depict as "bright white", what I got was what they depict as "dim light". The color is a murky brownish color which stole the warmth from the room. It has a very bleak look to it and doesn't feel at all cozy to the touch. As I was determining I didn't want to use it, and folding it up, I also noticed a 4" tear in one of the seams. Between the look and quality of the product, this will now be relegated to a blanket for my dogs when in the car. I needed one, and at least they will be quite happy with it, whereas I am not.

It is a printed pattern as opposed to stitched/knit, which is fine. No chance of fraying from use. Overall quality is good and looks nice as well. The color fit the rest of the room decor just fine.

I got the King sized set and it came in a vacuum sealed very well made box thats perfect for wrapping for a gift. So, when I say this comforter set is a great buy, I meam this comforter compares to 200+ dollar comforters Ive bought. The outer material is very smooth and the fill is soft. So the final thing I need to talk about is the warmth of the comforter. Its EXTREMELY warm. As in you could probably survive in the Artic with this thing. So comfort 5/5, Quality Feel 5/5, and Warmth 8/5.
