Usually the curtains lined with black are closer to 100% blackout, but this is correctly listed as being less than that. I bought it for a room that doesn't get direct sunlight, but I need it to block outside glare if I'm watching a movie during the day, and these curtains do that. The pattern is a charcoal gray against a grayed white. I plan on painting the room a color soon, so these are neutral for whatever color I want except beige. The grommets are silver, which is common, and unfortunate. I wish they were available in black like my curtain rods, but they don't stand out too much against the curtains themselves. I am planning on finally getting away from nickel lamps and moving towards brass or gold, so that's another reason why I wish more curtains came with color choices for the grommets. These are going to be so beautiful in my room once I give it a rich color and some vintage and gothic elements. I like that “dark academia” look that is popular right now. Overall these are great curtains for any room that you don't need to completely blot out every bit of sunlight (like my upstairs room with an eastern view that gets unbearably hot unless all summer light is kept out.)

I needed new curtains for my dining room, and finding something suitable has been challenging since my paint choice is unusual. Though these are more of a burnt orange and my walls are "juicy cantaloupe," I'm very happy with them, and they grow on me more every day since I've hung them up. I love the black and white simple sophistication of the linocut-like print. The curtains themselves are velvety soft, heavy, with a lovely drape. The silver grommets are evenly set, and the stitching is well done. They are blackout as promised (see first photo). The pleats are deep enough that I was even able to hide our stick vacuum behind one, keeping it centrally handy but out of sight (2nd photo). I have only ONE gripe with these blackout curtains: the images for the product don't really show just how deep the pleats are, making them difficult to close when they rub against the sheers behind them. At $40 for the pair, these are an absolute steal for well-made, truly blackout curtains. Highly recommended! (Note: For full window coverage that looks right, I'd need a second pair, but I don't need to block all the light, or cover the whole window. Rule of thumb for most curtains is twice the width of the window – 48 inch window, 96 inches of curtain.)

These curtains do a great job blocking the light. The stitching is good quality all around, and the fabric is soft and smooth both in the front and in the back. They look just fine in a window facing the street because they just look like black curtains, nothing unattractive about the material on the outside. The printing is just as pictured but the resolution isn't as sharp as I expected, so while it is very beautiful it's more of a watercolor effect and doesn't work well in the room I had planned to use them for. I included a couple of photos so you can see it here, it really does still look nice and I might use it in another room but I hope the other buyers can find the right match with the new angle of photos.

So many curtains advertise as black out curtains, but don't really do the job ... Well these curtains are TRUELY black out curtains! No sunlight gets through and I love it! The pattern is beautiful and the fabric has a nice silky feel to it. The back has a black fabric panel, so just fyi in case your HOA is picky and only wants white back curtains showing through the window. Also be aware of the size you are ordering, I got the 52 x 63 which is the short curtain. Which is perfect for my window, but if you have a longer window you will need the larger size. It comes with two panels but I only needed one. For the price, these curtains are an amazing value and I'm so happy to have found some black out curtains that actually work!

Beautiful soft satin feeling curtains. The design is gorgeous and elegant looking. They look great in our bedroom but would look good anywhere. Blocks out light very well perfect for day sleepera. Keeps out light to help keep room cool in the summer and will do a great job cold air in the winter. The finish on the back is really nice and soft not cheap plastic backing that deteriorates in the sun. These are a great value and worth every penny.

These are even prettier than I expected. The black out lining in the back is so thick. Not a bit of sunlight comes through. If you’re a deep sleeper who needs a little light to wake up, these might just be too well made for you! They’re e tremy high quality, and the pattern on the front is full without being too busy or detracting. These are also gender neutral, because plants and flowers are for all of us. They have silver grommet tops, and the stitching is tightly sewn. I love these.
