I bought these in "Aurora" and looking back, I kind of wish I would have gotten the clear or the glow-in-the-dark. The rainbow coating comes off after the first day of wearing them. That's the ONLY reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, shipping was fast and all the pieces came in the kit and they're really simple to use. My ears are up to 10G right now and I haven't had any pain or discomfort yet. Some gauging tips: GO SLOW - you should be waiting for *at least* 3 weeks before going up a size. Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize. I take them out and clean and lube them up every day for the first few days, and then move to every other day or so for the next few weeks. Tapers are not jewelry - You should only wear your tapers for about 30 mins to an hour before putting the larger plugs in. Tapers are just for opening the hole and getting it ready to take the larger plug, not for wearing for extended periods of time. Have fun :) ... show more

Bought these to help correct my gauge size. These arrived on time and after sterilizing I tried both the tapers and the plug. I have had 2G for years and trying out natural stone I found the sizes were not always correct. So I decided to go up a size to “0”. It wasn’t to bad. I tried the tapers, but they are a little to long for me and they kept getting caught on my shirt, but maybe I have a short neck idk. Plugs work great and I like that there are grooves to hold the O ring in place. I’m bummed out to read the color fades, not looking forward that at all. Also I didn’t need this kit, but I needed something quick and the cost was good. Over all so far so good Update - 7/7 - The color does come off, but they still work and nothing has infected my ears. ... show more

I previously had stretched ears as a teenager/young adult and recently decided to stretch them back out. Picked these up because they're cheap and I knew it would be easy to restretch from a 4 gauge left and a 2 gauge right. They served their purpose well BUT the irridescent layer literally peels off in your ear. If you have a freshly stretched ear that just doesn't sound hygienic. Plus it can be really irritating. Pass on this set but the others without a color coating are great! ... show more

Love this kit! i was worried about the material at first because i have very sensitive skin but i am currently wearing the 14g and it has not bothered my ears not one bit. this is my first time experimenting with stretching my ears so i do not know a lot about what material is better or what products are best but so far this kit is working for me. I love that it glows, however my only complain is that the glow is not as vibrant as shown in the picture but of course you get what you paid for, right? I was new to gauging at the time, and since this was a fairly cheap set I decided to order them. It came with 14G up to a 00G. I was overly excited after the 12G (14G and 12G both went in super easily) and did it before I was supposed to. I was only to get to an 8G, unfortunately. My ears refused to stretch above no matter how long I waited. I greatly recommend this set to anyone wanting to gauge their ears. I also recommend using baby oil on your lobes and the taper it's self in order for it to be easier to push through. ... show more

    • Sizes are a bit off
The sizing is a bit off but not by much I was already at a size 6 when I ordered these so I went to gauge up to a size 4 and they looked way bigger then they should have so looked at the packaged labeled 6 and indeed the packaged 6s were actually 4s and the 4s were 2s and so on so if you order these do be careful and don’t try to size up with out carfully looking at the gauges before hand and finding the right size! Other then that they were perfect no rough edges and the paint did not chip off! But do not soak in rubbing alcohol it turns them soft and plyable instead use gauge conditioner and gauge oil! ... show more

Late review but better than nothing. I’ve started out with this set to get my desired sizes and it’s worked great! Worthy of price and I still use them to this day! I’m wearing them right now and I’ve owned them for years. Would recommend from this seller again! Packaging was great too!

    • O-rings not secure
For whatever reason, I tend to lose the O-rings while I sleep and the studs sometimes too. These are great for being temporary and stretching, but look into something more permanent sooner than later.
