I ordered the 52" umbrella, because I like to share with others when the opportunity arises. I prefer the inner folding umbrella rather than the outer folding ones, to keep puddles off of floor. This umbrella meets all of my requirements, plus the auto-fold feature is an added plus.

The umbrella seems very sturdy and well made (I haven't used it yet). It folds up to a compact size but opens up to a larger than average sized umbrella to give wide coverage. It is a little heavier than I anticipated but not too heavy that you wouldn't want to carry it around.

I love this umbrella, it's super fast opening up and closing. I'm 61 so it's a little hard to get closed when pushing the last part of closing. It's really me though not the umbrella as 5 years ago i wouldn't have had this problem. Everything else about the umbrella is great, used it 4× no problems.

The media could not be loaded. Story Time I'm leaving my apartment. It's dull outside and raining heavily - I'm wearing a full backpack, I have garbage bags in my left hand to throw out on my way to work, and in my right hand this umbrella. Were it any other umbrella I would be juggling like a circus acrobat and starting the day stressed. But THIS umbrella? Brilliant. Open door to my apartment building- I hit that button and *POOF* my umbrella extends and opens right up - I walk to my car and it keeps me AND my backpack dry. One handed I'm getting the bags in the car and by the time I get in the drivers seat I direct the umbrella out I hit that button and *POOF* the umbrella closes shaking off any water droplets. After closing the car door the next step is to push the umbrella together to fully collapse - again, one handed, I just pushed it into the door. In the video I do the same against a building wall. The spring power for both opening and closing the umbrella is immense, but in close quarters juggling things, it works very well. ... show more

The added ribs add to the sturdiness when it's windy, which is nice. The opening and closing mechanism is very forceful; you have to be careful not to point the umbrella at anyone when opening because you can really hit someone really hard with it.
