- INCREDIBLE ARTISTRY: The intricate Strawberry Thief design forms part of the Morris & Co for Pimpernel collection. William Morris was one of the most influential designers of the nineteenth Century and through his company, Morris & Co., he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of his era.
- STRONG AND STYLISH: Our quality placemats and coasters use a 5mm board topped with a unique and exclusive art print. Each is totally sealed with a high quality coating that is both stain and heat resistant to 212 degrees Celsius. The placemats and coasters are then finished with a hard-wearing cork back that protects precious furniture.
- SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE: Pimpernel is the premier brand for placemats, coasters, trays and accessories, with an outstanding and unique range that is renowned for its high quality. Pimpernel's exclusive homewares, textiles and gifts are created to suit all tastes, and make wonderful additions to the home.
- TIMELESS DESIGNS: Portmeirion was founded by legendary ceramic designer Susan William-Ellis in 1960 and has remained at the forefront of contemporary design ever since. Renowned for our tableware and giftware, Portmeirion produces beautiful and unique collections all of which are made to the highest standard to be enjoyed every day.

Beautiful and classy
We recently purchased a new "old" 124 yr old solid oak American Oak dining table. It deserves top notch place mats so I found these. I love them. The blue blends beautifully with the golden oak color. I will be buying four more for a full set of eight for when the table is fully extended with all the leaves.

Pretty but flawed
These are even prettier than the picture, however, I ordered 8 placemats (2 sets) and of the 8 two have flaws. One has a line across it that’s not easily noticeable but one has a wrinkle in the pattern that was pressed flat. I only needed six so no big deal to me, but look at them carefully when they arrive.
