The 1st shipment was missing from my front door yet I needed new glasses so i had them sent again; very glad i did. They are remarkably light, which for me makes them the perfect wine and/or liquor glass. BTW the “doable glass” construction really does work; with a hot tea or coffee your hand does not even felt the heat…ditto for cold drinks. I ordered the tall version which says they are great for champagne…can’t wait to pop a cork.

On the small size & text on bottom is too noticeable

8.5 oz is a bit too small for glass of Chardonnay. 9.5 or 10 oz. would be perfect. Ugly laser etching in the bottom highly visible with no wine but is diminished with wine in it. If you can get over that ridiculous advertising and the large plug on the bottom, they are ok. After 3-4 glasses of wine, you won’t care anyway. I would wash by hand if you want them to last.

Perfect summer whiskey glass
The double wall insulation on these eliminates all sweating on the outside of the glass. They are large enough to hold a mixed drink like an old fashioned or simply hold whiskey and ice. Either way, they will be a great addition to your deck or patio this summer. They say they are dishwasher safe, but I have not tried that. I hand wash all of my double wall glasses (yes, I have them for beer, coffee, and now whiskey).

Cloudy inner layer in brand new glasses

I purchased 4 of Bodum Skal Chardonnay glasses, three of them arrived with its inner layer being very cloudy, one of which is worse than the others. I hand washed them in warm soap water and vinegar solution, it didn’t work. Very dissatisfying.
