Love this teapot (and the glasses)! No need to warm it up before making tea in it. It also makes a lot of tea. both of us can enjoy a few cups with one pot. I wish the infuser had finer holes because I make herbal tea. The infuser is not fine enough to make Rooibos or Chamomile tea without a tea sock, unless you like "meaty" tea. Occasionally I have to use a little baking soda or bleach to clean the infuser as the plastic does stain after a several pots, but it cleans up nicely. I also wish Amazon sold a replacement for the infuser. One of the plastic tabs broke off that holds it in place in the teapot. No biggie, it's still useable, but I would like to replace the infuser. I love how you can "shut off the brew" with the plunger. I would buy this pot again, and I would buy for a gift. ... show more

    • Good size but difficult to clean.....
I bought this tea press pot because I use a Bodum coffee press and love it. My husband wanted a large tea pot and was tired of using ceramic ones and having to remember the timing of the tea. He was ready to try a tea press. The Bodum worked quite nicely but the pot is difficult to clean afterwards and seems fragile. The glasses that came with the set seemed really thin and sure enough, one was broken in a short period of time. I try not to use the remaining one - too worried about it breaking too. About three weeks ago, I was hand drying the press mechanism and dropped in on my tile counter and it also broke. This is not a well made tea press. My husband still uses this pot but substitutes the press from the Dimbula pot we also have. I would not purchase another Bodum tea press and don't feel I can recommend this pot. ... show more

Just received my Bodum Assam teapot set with glasses - finally, after my order was cancelled earlier this week. While removing the plastic filter from the pot, the glass tea pot shattered. Couldn't believe it! Straight from the box to the garbage! What a waste of money! I thought Bodum was better quality than this. Unable to give zero stars for this review, although that's what it should be rated. ... show more
