The wine cooler arrived early and was well packaged. There was a minor scratch on the top of the unit apparently from the manufacturing process. I touched up the scratch with black marker and it is no longer noticeable. I set up an leveled the wine cooler and waited the required 12 hours before plugging it into the power outlet. Once turned on the cooler began cooling immediately. After the cooler and its contents reached my set temperature (60 F) it runs infrequently and is quite quiet. I placed the cooler on a carpeted floor and discovered the door is quite low and rubs on the carpet. I placed 3/4 in thick wood slats under the feet to solve this problem. The cooler looks good, runs quietly and it keeping my wine at the set temperature. I like it much better than my electronic cooler that I had previously.

I received my wine cooler and my first impression was that the cooler is the size and design i really wanted. Easy to work LED buttons to set up the temperature. The cooler fits around 30 bottles. It needs 12 hours to start working properly after opening. After that the cooler can be used for every day use. It fits in my kitchen perfectly. The price was the best i found so far. A wonderful Christmas gift for myself.

This is an attractive looking beverage cooler with a nice windowed door. I don't drink large amounts of wine, but was looking to have a dedicated mini fridge for other beverages as well, and this seemed like a good fit. I like the fact that the controls auto-lock to prevent accidental temperature changes. The light has a 10-minute cycle before automatically powering off, if the light doesn't get manually switched off. The main thing to keep in mind when considering a wine chiller for other beverages is that they will typically only go as cold as 41 degrees F / 5 degrees C, as wine generally does not want to be stored quite as cold as a normal refrigerator. Having used other "college dorm style" mini fridges in the past, and being fed up with always having to defrost, I actually figured this temperature difference would be a good thing, and mean I'd never have to defrost again since this has no freezer. Unfortunately, I was dead wrong. There is an indentation just above the compressor at the bottom of the interior of the unit which on multiple occasions I have either had to pull out a layer of ice, or soak up a bunch of water, so it's not handling humidity inside the cooler at all to keep things dry. My big concern with this is that over time, left unchecked, a puddle of water inside the unit can certainly result in mildew or mold growth, and since the interior of the cooler is already black, trying to visibly distinguish bad growth from the interior of the unit is going to be difficult to know when it's successfully been cleaned. The compressor itself isn't super loud, but any time it runs, there is a rattling noise. And this rattling isn't vibrations moving the bottles around, because it happens even when the unit is empty, so there's something with the compressor itself that's making a rattling sound, which I hope doesn't adversely affect the lifespan of the unit.

Nice amount of room, we'll built. You can hear the Compressor turn on and off when the cold cycle comes on but it's not that bad. This Wine Refrigerator has made my Wife very happy.
