I followed their recommendation and got a 3X large the first time. I didn't even bother wearing them. I returned them (no questions asked, easy peasy) and got the XX. I STILL practically swim in the XX, but they are manageable. I didn't see much shrinkage. High quality. Nice, thick material. They FELL like high quality FR clothes. And they don't 'break the bank!'
