Update: I owe this little guy a major apology. Have been using it every single day now, and it's my Go-To for this crazy situation I'm in. It even protected me from false accusations in a scuffle with a crazy woman who snatched my phone! The footage is in evidence now, and I am so thankful for it. Had to come back with an update... This thing has really impressed me. I was turned off by the plastic build at first, but it's proven to be very durable, and has held up against some major abuse. I didn't have any faith in the plastic clips, but they have been holding it to my jeans/pants/jacket pockets pretty well. They don't always hold it in place, or at the angle I want, but they aren't breaking, and I thought they would. The picture quality is pretty impressive, has a SUPER wide angle. Probably not a whole 180°, but that's what it looks like, and vibrant color. The microphone is AMAZING. It's just a tiny little pinhole, but it has good quality sound, and picks up very well. Much better than a phone, or other gadgets I have like this. It's also much lighter, more compact, and more pocket-sized than any of my other bodycams. I keep it in my jacket pocket at all times. Battery life seems to be very good. The only problems I've had so far, and this isn't unique, but the lens gets smudged with fingerprints or whatever, and I have to remember to wipe it off to get a good picture. Other problem I had, and not a big thing, is that I was holding it, having just turned it on before the scuffle, and it got bumped around and turned off. Another hidden camera took up wherenit left off, and it worked out. I also sometimes get the mic and camera button confused when I'm using it in a hurry. But those aren't anything to really deduct points for, and I had to come back and give it 5 stars. Not only does it work so well, but it's been an absolute lifesaver, and I'm so sorry for underestimating it. Thank you, Boblov! Original Review: So, it works okay, and is doing its thing protecting me in a bad situation, as a backup to other cameras like this, but ones that have more features, and are built much tougher. This has a very lightplastic build, and doesn't seem like it could take any abuse. If you're wearing a body camera, you're very likely doing something active, or dangerous, where tumbles and falls happen. So, it should be built tough. And this one isn't. On the bright side, is that it costs about half as much as most halfway decent cameras like this. So, if you're NOT doing something where it might get damaged, or you know you can protect it, and you want to save some money, it's an option. So, because of the price, I'm going to be generous and go with 4 stars. Will come back to update, if there are any new developments in my security measures involving it. ... show more

Was pretty easy to get started, even for me. It comes with an SD card and an adapter (?) so you don't have to worry about that. You can also take still pictures with it like a regular camera. The recording is pretty smooth. The item itself is lightweight plastic, so the quality of the recording is really surprising. I didn't do the Date/Time stamp part. For my use, it's not important and I don't download anything from sources I don't know. When they include in the instructions that if you get a "virus software detected" notice when downloading the file pretty much ignore and keep downloading, it sorta makes me not want to go there. Still, it's a fun recorder. Pretty good quality. Lightweight. Easy to take along. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This little body cam is very impressive. It uses the Sony Starvis sensor, so it doesn't need any built-in lights. It can record at night and can see almost as good as the naked eye. When I pointed it to the night sky, I could see a few bright stars, and Saturn was a very bright dot. You could also see clouds in the night sky. I have several other body cams that have built in IR lights, and they are useless at night. The IR lamps can only reach out to 1 meter at best. It's the Sony sensor that makes the difference. If you work the night shift, then this is a great choice. It's affordable, the microphone picks up a lot of sound, the video quality is good, and it does a good job at night and indoors. There are several minor drawbacks, though. First, the camera is very small, and the battery is even smaller. The manual claims 90 minutes of recording time. Next, the camera cannot tilt or rotate the lens. Fortunately, the camera angle is very wide, like an action camera, so it will capture a lot. Also, there's no image stabilization. Since the camera angle is very wide, it's not too bad. My other cameras have a narrow angle, and it's very shaky. They also miss the subject. Sometimes, I think I'm pointed directly at the subject, but when I check the video, it's out of frame. Stay away from cameras with small lenses. The Boblov has a big fisheye lens, similar to an action camera. Another negative is the built-in clips. It's winter now, and these clips are made for thinner material. I can only clip it to the collar of my sweat shirt. The final issue I have is the small switches. I accidentally switched it to audio only, so I didn't record any video when I thought I had. Since the body is so small, it's easy to hit a switch accidentally when you are struggling to clip it on to your clothes. The camera includes a 64 GB micro SD card. A one minute video will use about 100 MB, so you can fit many hours of video on the card. Also, it's easy to transfer files to a PC. This uses the old style micro USB cable (included). Overall, this is an excellent value, and a very good choice if you don't need to record video for more than an hour per day. The image quality isn't the best, but it's good enough to record an incident. It's definitely worth the price. I have another body cam with the Starvis sensor, and it performs the same at night. It's twice the size and more than twice the price of the Boblov. I prefer to use this one, because of it's size. It doesn't weigh down my clothes, and it's not as conspicuous. There's a tiny LED on the side that blinks while recording. It's difficult for others to see. I recorded sample videos at midnight, so it was very dark, yet you can still see the night sky and shadow areas. ... show more

This is by far the best portable camera i have used and love and the price doesn't disappoint. It is super HD but not 4K but that is fine with me. The video quality was way better than others. The video was super clear and super detailed, now i do use my laptop to see the video so i didn't use a large tv so i can't say how that looks but for uploading to youtube will be great. Super easy to use and the card easy to install. The clip is solid enough but only to clip on shirts or belt. You may need a better or larger clip if you need it to clip on a car visor. The front recording is wide screen so if you flip the camera horizontally, it will not be wide so keep that in mind. the battery is fair enough but could last longer so you just have to often charge it especially if you use it every day. I love the loop recording because if i need the video i just go to my laptop and unload my MP4 videos. I really loved this ... show more
