I am impressed by this tiny camera that record videos, photos or audio and comes with a clip so it can easily attach to my jacket collar or front pocket, I’ve used this as a vlogging camera and got more candid shots during conversations and interviews. I appreciated that I can turn the date & timestamp feature off & on when desired, so I don’t get that on footage I’m using for fun or to post on YouTube. The BOBLOV C18 Body Camera gives first-person, hands-free video at 1080p (30 frames per second) for excellent picture quality & sharp images. No need to carry a supply of external batteries. The built-in battery provides about 4 hours of recording time, and the ease of operation thanks to one big button on the front. Also, when it is getting low, I can recharge in under two hours. I did this from a small portable power bank when I was on a hike. Best of all it has Wi-Fi that connects to my iPhone. The installed app controls all the settings and allows me to view all the videos and photos as well as transfer them to my phone if I want to share something right away on social media. Very convenient when traveling and no need for a bulky laptop to extract footage. I teach Self-Defense courses at our local university and I often encourage students to invest in an affordable body camera like this one. This model will not break anyone’s bank and in a time of civil unrest it is always a good idea to have your own evidence. My vehicle was recently damaged in a hit & run and I was able to record the motorist’s confession on my cell phone before she drove away. I simply turned over the footage to the police and my insurance agent and it was open & shut. This mini camera is something I can leave on my person at all times since it not inhibiting or restricting at all. Plus, it has a Motion Detect option that is helpful for security purposes, like making sure property in a hotel room isn’t messed with when I’m out. I put it on a mini tripod with the help of the 1/4" thread on the bottom. Absolutely great product that’s worth its cost-effective price.

The negatives: image quality seems bad out of the box. might be adjustable but haven't looked into it. Maybe it's just not a great camera. The wifi switch is cool but the app is basic and will probably never develop much. However it has some durability (hasn't broken yet). This product gets the job done but is nothing to write home about. The price is fair. if you want good image quality and better audio you need to spend more money I think. This is not an expensive or high end camera. It's dirt cheap. but how good must your footage be? The cable it uses to plug in is archaic. It's one of those old weird looking USB types, so if you lose the cable you gotta buy another weird one from the store. And if you don't have it with the camera and you wanna. You know, look at your files or upload your files to your computer. You can't. You gotta go find the cable. Type A USB on one side and it's old school. USB on the other, which is not good.

I am simply posting my notes that I took to/for myself as I used it for a couple of days and wrote a bit in review phrasing for this purpose, too: American English manual is really well written & explains perfectly. I read every word of it before use and during initial setup with zero confusions. The clip is very strong and also magnetic to keep it in place. The big circle (main) button has alternatives (other buttons' functions change) for when clip is over it The menus are very easy to navigate and change selections. The vibration confirmations for navigating menus and choices is really helpful, but can also be disabled. Tons of options can be changed (enabled/disabled) -- The microphone is not the best The battery is confusing on life - Plug it in & it shows charging or even not charging (found it goes back and forth). But, when it was not plugged in it showed 3/3 bars full, and as soon as I plug it in, even when it doesn't appear to be charging & the light is not on, it immediately goes down to 2. That's understandable except the charging indicator goes on & off and when it's in use/not plugged in, I'd like to know the true battery level instead of the potentially false 100% showing. Even in strong lighting on a lightly cloudy day, the image is not the clearest both on video and images. This was true on multiple tests of different pixelations. Overall, if it had night vision and a better microphone, I would love to have this camera with its size, vibrations, sturdy clip that can be moved, easy to navigate menu, and several options. The lack of night vision (my mistake) and microphone issues are enough to be a game changer for me. It's not worth it with the microphone & overall image clarity issues.

First off got first camera and with in few weeks started having problems with camera shutting off on it own with in few mins of recording. Contacted the company and they sent a new camera which took few weeks due to shipping and shortage. Received the new camera and have used last couple days with out any problem period, Great seller to work with communication very fast and friendly. Would definitely work with again. Wifi option on camera is super nice to see on tablet or phone.

With all the craziness of modern times some family members recommended getting a body camera. I though one that could download to phone would be a great feature and was excited to have one. Oh... what a mistake. This is absolute garbage. First it uses a mini USB. Mini not micro. I haven't used a device that used a mini USB in almost 20 years. Bad sign to start with. The device feels solid. Menu was east to navigate. App downloaded fine, but connecting via the Wi-Fi? This thing wasn't having it. I followed the instruction over and over. Reset the app. Got it to connect once. BTW the app only had the image in landscape. I don't know if you chang it because as soon as I went to the setting it dropped the connection and just kept failing after that. One connection after dozens of tries I boxed it up and shipping it back. Look for something else. Even if it's a little more expensive or doesn't have the Wi-Fi novelty. Just whatever you decide skip this one it isn't worth the frustration.
