  • Awesome set up and stylish
Great product for our newborn. This brand was recommended to us by family and it did not disappoint. It is an investment but worth every penny. Easy one button carrier removal from the car base and the stroller. The carrier and be placed facing you or reversed in the stroller which we love. It is a bit heavy but it is sturdy so its worth it. Love the offroad tires and the suspension. Rides really well and we added the BOB cup holder attachment for the handle. We highly recommend this product ... show more

  • A great stroller for jogging... tough for everyday use.
We have had these bob Strollers for years; despite the status on this review. We have had a few Bob strollers since we first have had kids. In general we have enjoyed these strollers for what they are intended for; which is RUNNING, JOGGING, EXERCISING. Outside of those 3 aforementioned things; this stroller is really too bulky for everyday usage. I opened this new "revolution Flex 3.0" strollers only to find out that it is quite similar to my Rambler and my previous generation Bob Stroller (not sure the name of it). All 3 models are quite similar and operate in the same manner.... the Revolution flex is just a little thinner across it seems. These strollers are "okay" to maneuver and they have very low rolling resistance. However they are just not good for malls and other tight scenarios because they are bulky and heavy. If you are a smaller individual trying to take this in and out of a car; you will get tired of it fast. I knocked some stars off of "value" because the car seat while good; its really built only to work with these strollers which are just not everyday strollers. Therefore it makes sense to get car seats that work with other major brands that are better for everyday usage. If you frequently exercise or plan to start doing so with your kids; this stroller (and the other Bob options that are similar) are some of the best if not the best options for your running needs. If this review helped you at all; please mark it helpful! Thanks! ... show more

  • All the bells & whistles!
This BOB Gear Flex 3.0 jogger stroller is my first stroller and I'm already pleasantly pleased with it. The set that I got came with the Flex 3.0 jogger stroller and the Britax B-Safe 35 Infant Car Seat. Before selecting this stroller set, I tried to do my homework and find out if the brand was any good. From my understanding, BOB Gear was purchased by Britax several years ago. BOB Gear strollers were positioned as more luxury strollers -- as you can notice from the price! I also came across an article about some controversy over Britax/BOB's refusal to order a recall over a safety hazard. As a new parent, that gave me some pause. Did I want to take that risk? I decided to give it a try and see if those issues remained. ## Packaging: Upon receiving it, I just thought -- this thing is huge. I unpacked it. It seemed like things were more or less thrown in the box -- there was no packaging foam or whatnot to keep everything tightly in place. The car seat base was also dirty -- almost as if it was used. There was also a loose piece of plastic in the bag with stroller that I still haven't figured out where it belongs. ## Assembly: There are 3 separate manuals. (1) BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Stroller, (2) BOB Gear Infant Car Seat Adapter ICSA) for BRITAX/BOB, and (3) BRITAX B-SAFE 35. Each manual is fairly detailed. Assembly of the stroller mainly consisted of securing the wheels. The two rear wheels simply "click" on, and can be quickly removed by pulling a release latch. The front wheel is took an extra minute as it required flipping the front wheel from "walk" mode to "jog" mode. After that, it was a matter of putting the wheel (called "through-axle") in place and then tightening it in place with the provided hex wrench. The front wheel will require the hex wrench to remove if needed. The jogger can be used as is for bigger children.., But in order to use it with the car seat, I had to install the provided Infant Car Seat Adapter (ICSA). Thats as simple as locating the two holes on both sides of the stroller, and snapping the adapter in. After that, I also had to fasten the provided stroller restraint belt with a screwdriver. The ICSA is easily removable. The car seat required no actual assembly -- just a matter of learning how to secure it into the stroller. Additionally, the car seat base also required no assembly -- just needed to figure out how to properly secure it via the one of (3) methods that they offer. ### SUMMARY: ## PROS ## + The stroller seems to be very well-built. + It can be switched from jogger to walk-mode easily by flipping a little switch at the front wheel. Jogger mode basically locks the wheel into forward position. Walk-mode makes the stroller very easy to maneuver. It has a long foot brake that is easy to flip. + The handlebar position can be easily adjusted by pressing two buttons on the left/right side of the handlebar. + Theres ample storage + Easy to adjust from sitting up position to lay-down position + Tires are air-filled.. And theres shocks suspension to make it a more comfy ride. + UPF 50+ canopy -- theres lots of sun protection, and a "peek-a-boo" window + Two side tires are easily removable to make it easier and more compact to tranport + BRITAX CAR SEAT -- Easy to put in the car seat base & stroller, and remove. ## CONS ## - A bit difficult to fold the stroller down - Removal of front tire is a bit more difficult, requiring the hex wrench tool. - A bit heavy/bulky - PRICEY! - Packaging was a bit lacking... But as everything seems to be well-built, it survived the trip. - (4) separate product registration cards/reminders. One that leads to Britax's website. (2) that supposed to lead to Bobgear's registration page but ERRORS out. The last card is for people outside of the US. Its not clear what the difference between each of these product registration cards as some information is slightly different on them. However, as of this review, it seems product registration is all handled on Britax's website. ... show more
