  • ***This boat can be easily and quickly be registered***
****This can easily and quickly be registered!!!!**** My boat came with no paperwork, but did have a Hull Identification Number. I emailed [email protected] and asked how to register it. Same day reply: email copy of Amazon invoice and tracking number, and pictures of the boats nameplate and HIN. Got the Manufacturers Statement of Origin and verification of the Hull Identification Number the next day, which is needed to register the boat, at least in Commiefornia. I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting quite a fight based on all the comments in the Amazon reviews. Now for the review.... Great boat for what it is, at a great price point. Know that this 7.5ft boat is a comically tiny boat, realistically good for one person putt putting around or one and a half people without much gear. I bought it at the take my money price as a quick and easy grab and go option instead of my larger crafts when Im jonzing for the water but im too lazy, busy, or impatient to deal with the long lines of idiots at the boat ramps. The boat I bought and received is well constructed, the seams are all tight without excess glue everywhere like a kindergarten art project, the valves all work, doesn't leak air or water, my Nissan outboard clamps down just fine on the transom, and customer service through email was same day in perfect English. I know, I'm pretty shocked too. It has a flat slatted floor, so its difficult to get on plane quickly and its squirrly on the water (doesn't track well), this is the same with all boats of this design, not just COZ. In my case sitting on the tube to operate the tiller handle puts too much weight to the rear and on one side, so its bow up for quite awhile trying to get on plane. Better off sitting on the bench with a tiller extension if needed and move the fuel tank to the bow for better weight distribution. I'm still playing around with different set ups to suit my needs, and you can customize it in anyway you want to suit yours. 5 stars for a $300 boat for sure Hope this was helpful ... show more

  • Nice little boat
If you're looking for a little boat that you can row around a calm lake or pond, this is a good one. It's good for one person to go fishing in. Maybe two people that aren't too bug to just relax and have a couple of beers. It's small, but I knew that buying it. On the plus side, it fits in the back of a Ford Ranger fully inflated. If you plan on putting a motor on it, the I would say it's a one person boat. Still good for fishing, but probably just one person. I had a 2.5 HP outboard motor in the garage and was looking for a boat to use it on. This one worked. It is small enough to come up on plane with that little power. But I have to sit on the seat to operate the motor, which doesn't leave room for another person. I tried sitting on one of the inflatable tubes but it's too small for that. Be aware this boat doesn't have a HIN. Not an issue if you don't plan on putting a motor on it. I got a certificate of authenticity or whatever it's called from the seller, but it still took 3 trips to the DMV and one to the local police station before I could get it registered in the state. Just mentioning this in case you plan to use it with a motor in a state that requires it to be registered. ... show more

  • Compact, well built, light, great value
Great quality for the price. Light and compact, flat floor with aluminum slats is manageable. Definitely a 2-person dinghy. Fits inside the provided bag, light enough for 1 person to carry. Will be doing sea trial soon, but looking forward to testing it out as its replacing a 10ft that just took up too much space and was difficult to lift onto the bow by one person. ... show more

  • Dinghy is better than swimming.
Dinghy is a little small for good maneuverability. We used it to get to and from our dock after the recent floods isolated the dock. It is well-constructed. Foot pump works well, except that when you disconnect it, a lot of air escapes.

  • CO-Z 7.5 Dinghy Review
Two adults do not fit in this dinghy. I was barely able to load my equipment on it, and it is very cramped, making rowing difficult. I used a 4HP Suzuki outboard, but after adjusting the tilt, I was able to control the bow from porposing. I also tested it with a 55 thrust trolling motor, and it handled quite nicely! This dinghy is OK for one person and very little gear. I have already taken it a mile out with 2-3' seas. Luckily, I wrapped my gear up in a plastic bag because by the time I got to my vessel, I was drenched. The dinghy can easily be prepped, launched, and be stowed away when finished. It s a good value for the money, it is definitely not very comfortable for a tall or heavy person. I would not recommend to use it in 3'+ seas. ... show more

  • Solid Dinghy for the Price
Overall very happy for what I use it for. I just need it to get to my 21' center console on the mooring 150ft from the dinghy dock. Virtually no installation as the floor boards were already installed. It inflates quick with the provided foot pump. Initially I was frustrated because as soon as you unplug the pump from the dinghy valve, it would start losing air rapidly. I found out that you just need to twist the valve tip out and to the right and that will hold the air in until you screw the cap on. It is light enough for one person to handle and not too large. I'm 5'7 150lbs and its perfect size. For someone bigger it might be a little small. Overall very happy for $300. ... show more

  • Not worth
The product is way little than imagined. The margins for the deck you use to sit down broke at first use and I m not a fat person, 180 lbs 5ft11’. Overall at first impression the boat is better for some kids but definitely not for adults

  • Valves are defective
While the build quality looked good, so far one valve holds in air more often than not, one valve sometimes holds in air, and the third valve has not worked right once. Looks like this is going back if the valves refuse to work properly. The release buttons slide in and out like they should, but in the closed position the valves are wide open. Impossible to fill properly. Imagine trying to tie off a balloon without squeezing the neck. Very disappointing. Update: Valves are cooperating, at last. Perhaps requires higher pressure than I imagined. Not sure about the seat, but it looks too high to use while rowing, so I think it will be left behind. Manual says nothing about floorboards, but that is easy enough to figure out. ... show more
