Features

  • For both Generator Running & Storage Protection - It is both a running generator cover and generator box for storage at the same outdoor location. Convert between running and storage condition with a simple flip of side covers
  • Easy Move of Generator With Shed On - Our Generator Shed sits and is locked to the top frame of your generator with some ground clearance. You can simply unfold the generator handle and move/rotate the generator with shed on
  • Isolation of Fabric Covers from Hot Running Generator - The generator is nested inside the steel frame and the fabric covers are attached to the outside surface of the steel frame. Thus the covers have no free hanging or lose edge that may touch the hot running generator and get melt in windy weather
  • Full Observation/Ventilation Of The Running Generator - Each side cover can be opened along the steel frame's outside surface and locked to any needed height for either observation or the ventilation requirement of the running generator
  • No Tool Required For Assembly or Disassembly - With our unique hand-twist quick coupler design, you can assemble or disassemble the shed without any tool. If you need the generator for RV, food truck or camping application, keep your package box so you can disassemble the shed and put into the box for transportation

Description

What sets our GENSHED generator shed apart from all other generator running covers on the market is our shed is built on an enclosed steel frame and it is more compact, solid and safe. The steel frame not only acts as the structure for fabric covers to be attached to, but also isolates the fabric covers from the hot running generator. It is also designed to allow you storing and running the generator at the same outdoor location without the need to move in/out & set up for each operation. We have 3 different models to cover nearly all branded generators like Honda, Generac, Champion, Firman, Duromax etc. generators ranging from 2.5 K to 18K. Please measure your generator’s L x W to select the right model.

  • Very satisfied with my purchase.
Model: GCL
Nice looking, easy to assemble, good quality semi permanent home for my generator. Not cheap but worth the price.

  • Nice product
Model: GCL
Nice product for our generator that lives outside. We watch an assembly video by the company to be sure that we were doing it correctly. Provides nice protection and fit perfectly. It is easy to use the generator by rolling up the sides. Good value for the money and looks nice. For us it was a better option than having a building or something we could not move. ... show more

  • Perfect fit. Would give it 5 Stars if not for a tool, one part, and lack of part labeling.
Model: gce
The cover was a perfect fit on a Firman 7500 Watt Dual Fuel Generator. Good and not excessive clearance all around on the inside. About 2.5 inches clearance from the ground to give good protection from the rain, but allow you to move it easily. Tools and the bolts are a problem. The provided wrench strips the nut since the wrench fit with the nut did not seem tight enough. A better wrench is needed. You can get good tightening of you use your own socket (7mm). The bolt could also be a better quality. The provided Allen wrench seemed to strip the bolts when tightening. If the bolts are snug, the nut side only can be tightened. It would also be helpful if the parts were labeled with stickers (A, B, C, etc.). After assembly it is a good quality. ... show more

  • Great Protection for your expensive generator!
Model: GCL
Excellent Product....Easy assembly, well made and works perfectly to protect my 13000 Watt Generator. I highly recommend this rather than spending all the $$$$ to actually build a structure to house it in. Generator can be run without removal. A great option for folks who have portable generators....just measure your unit carefully and be sure to order the correct size. ... show more

  • Both Good and Bad
Model: GCL
Just finished assembling this. The video on YouTube for assembly helped a lot because the instructions were a little cumbersome. First the bad: 1. The entire thing is held together with Velcro. No way this will stand up to the Texas winds, so I had to improvise. The roof of this thing is literally held onto the frame by four tiny strips of Velcro on the Roof supports and the fabric roof cover. I got creative with zip ties and secured the roof by attaching it to the generator frame with the zip ties. Also zip tied the bottom of the shed frame to the bottom of my generator frame so the Texas winds would not turn this thing into Dorothy’s house in the Wizard of Oz. 2. The shed was too tall for my generator (13,000 kWh dual fuel DuroMax). The steel frame rested on the ground which meant I could not move the generator. Used a couple of 2x2s zip tied to the top generator frame and attached the roof supports to those. That raised the shed enough so I could tilt it and move it. 3. The rods that support the fabric cover are a joke. They just sit in slots and are not secure. They come out easily when you are taking the roof cover off or putting it back on. A couple strips of duct tape secured them. 4. The fabric sides are just secured with Velcro on the sides. Guarantee they will start flapping around during a wind storm. They should have at least put Velcro strips on the bottom of the sides to secure them to the bottom frame. Two long bungee cords from the bottom frame of the generator, around the top of the shed, and back to the bottom of the generator frame on the other side solved that. 5. I should not have to re-engineer this thing to get it to work. The good: 1. Completely covers the generator. I had an Igan cover that did not do that. 2. Easy access to the generator via the side panels. 3. Looks good. Will see how it holds up. Overall, a three at best due mostly to the engineering flaws in the design, but you can overcome those if you are creative. ... show more
