I usually wear a medium, which is what I bought and they fit as expected if you like a looser fit. The liner shorts are much looser than I expected and the outer short is much thinner than I expected, they are very silky and light weight. The liner is pretty thin also, but provides plenty of coverage. I didn't buy them to work out in, but I would think the looseness would make them shift around a lot. These shorts look good when you first put them on, but I find the tight bike shorts do tend to ride up a lot and I keep having to pull them back down on my thighs. I don’t wear them often for that reason.

To start off, I’m short, have a muscular build, but not curvy. I have a pair similar to this by another brand. I find this pair of shorts to have thin material. They’re sort of baggy and the sides flair out like an A line skirt. They do the job, but the inner lining rolls up with movement, running, or lifting weights.     • Not athletic wear… more for show

This item does run small to size. I purchased my normal size; a medium, and these shorts were too short, too tight, and quite thin for my expected true fit. The inner lining is also quite thin and see through. This isn’t the worst aspect of the shorts, as they obviously have the overlaying material on the outer part of the shorts to help conceal some. However, the very thin inner material does ride up your thighs, creating bunching effect. Could not imagine if I was working out and sweating… definitely not moisture wicking material. Also does not really provide much comfort when running, biking, or even walking. The pockets do hang outside of the shorts when an object ( in my case my Apple headphone case) is placed inside, and has no zipper for true athletic convenience. It’s safe to say, these shorts are just for looking at. There is no true comfort, and most importantly, no true functionality of said “athletic” gear at all.. if athletic wear is what you’re looking for.. it’s best to keep browsing. ... show more
