No problems with the assembly. Holes lined up for the bolts. The screw caps provided won't fit because the bolts are to long for the shallow depth of the caps. Chair works great for 240 plus pounds. Assembly to less than an hour. The allen wrench was a little weak and the metal deformed while using so have a backup. Found a cover on Amazon to keep it dry. Wish it came with a foot stool but it's still super comfortable. ... show more

I was absolutely ecstatic when I bought this egg chair! When it arrived, it looked gorgeous in my living room—perfect size, not too low to the ground, not too wide, and it really added a stylish touch to my home. The chair is comfortable, though I would recommend getting a pouf to put your feet up on for added comfort. Assembly was a little tricky without a second person, but it’s definitely doable on your own. It took me about an hour to put together, although I was on the phone during that time. If you’re single and want to put it together, don’t be discouraged by the “two-person” assembly recommendation. You just have to be patient and a bit creative (I even used my head to hold some pieces in place!). The chair came quickly and was well-packaged—everything was in one piece, and I had to take it apart for assembly. The only issue I encountered was some unraveling from the fabric of the chair. I tried reaching out to the company via email, but unfortunately, I haven’t heard back yet. I was hoping to get a resolution directly from them, but as it stands, I’m considering contacting Amazon for support. That’s the reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5. Despite the unraveling issue, I love the chair and don’t want to return it. I don’t have a car right now, so returning it would be difficult, but if the company had responded, this would’ve easily been a 5-star review. Overall, it’s a great buy if you don’t mind the possibility of an issue—just make sure you’re comfortable with the potential for needing to contact support. Very sturdy and comfortable. Cushions are very thick as well. My only "wish" because I get in lazy mode sometimes is that they reclined or tilt just a bit. Overall very satisfied and easy to assemble
