  • Not what I expected.
This is my initial review and I'll update if needed. First, everything worked out of the box. Then testing and it fell flat. Good sun most of the day but I ended up gaining only10% after 10 hours. Clouds came in and didn't help but for most of the day, I was lucky to get 30 watts out of three series connected 200 watt panels. Panels are heavy and have lousy output. And with the weight and short length of supplied cables, a pain to reposition without moving the other 200 pounds. They did peak at over 400 watts with perfect sun but any tree shade or clouds and they are in the 20's. That is simply poor for the bulk of these. I've been running a much smaller unit with a lightweight, folding 80 watt panel that outdoes these panels. As such, I can't say how the primary unit and additional battery packs will perform as I don't want to test that until is at full charge and given today, that might take days or weeks. Further, Bluetooth only seems to work from the display side of the primary unit. Not from behind. It isn't needed anyway but in testing, having to move to connect, not user friendly. I'll update if it gets better but for now, I'm not sold on the included panels. I do realize it takes a bit to charge the entire unit and expansion batteries. But the low output of the panels makes that extremely slow. Might be OK in Arizona. But in northern Wisconsin we get a lot of weather swings and as such, need efficient panels. Based on today, these are not. For the bulk and price, I expected better. Follow up - next day - tested in perfect northern WI sun with lightweight 80 watt folding panels and found that those panels produce at 80+% while the included Bluetti panels are 50% at best. 70 Watts peak from folding lightweight 80 watt panels, 101 watts from Bluetti PV200 panels at four times the weight and fragile. And, the 80 watt panels are 5 years old.. The Bluetti panels are garbage and hope the units are better. ... show more

  • Solo off grid
Perfect for use on trailer or rv with the 30 amp plug, keep whole unit inside for convenience and it is pretty quiet resembles the sound of a small laptop fan intermittently. This small set up can keep you off grid. I can use my tv all night , electric blanket , etc. 2000 watt inverter is pretty good for 1 person . I usually have to turn off air conditioner if I wanna run my microwave for a second but not a big deal. 900 watt max solar input from panels is not bad either and can charge the unit and batteries fast ... show more
