These work well to hear without expensive hearing aids. The benefit is I see is with my regular hearing aids I can't do bluetooth or answer calls. I have CIC hearing aids which cost over 5,000. If you can afford regular hearing aids then these will work for you.

    • I want to love these ear buds, but they fall short.

These are a decent pair of ear buds and sound pretty good, but the main issue is the volume control, there are only (3) levels for both Rt & Lt to adjust at the same level. By having different hearing loses in both ears there is no way to balance the level. It's too bad you are unable to adjust the volume while using the app on your smartphone. Another thing is these are not sound canceling ear bugs by any means. I went to a Hockey Game and the sound in the stadium was defining, I had to remove them and go without during the game. The battery life is great along with the BT connection but unfortunately, I will be returning these. ... show more

For one because I did not make sure it fit in my ear, I lost the left side. Second the right side is not always snug, that I get the HIGH pitch feedback and just wish I could get it to stay snug.

The hearing quality in quiet environments is not as clear as my very expensive hearing aids but in noisy environments they tend to work fairly well and the bt to my phone is awesome. At first I thought I had to switch off the BT to use them in conversations but I found if I hit pause , in a second it would change to voice and press play switch it back to bt. Really a great value even if used only as a back up to expensive hearing aids! ... show more

    • Noise cancelling acts more like noise amplification.

They did not help my ability to understand people who were talking to me. Noises such as traffic, dishes clattering, wind, etc. were amplified. There is no amplification of voices and noise at all when listening to music over Bluetooth: the amplification of received sound does not run in that case. I got in touch with MaiHear, asking if I could upgrade to a better model. They sent me their Poco X808 model, which is why they are raised up to 3 stars in this review. The TWS model is one-star for sure. When I first got these, I was pleasantly surprised. I had not known what I was not hearing outside of any Media I was listening to. The hearing aid is just what I needed. Along with the charging case it Just works! It almost instantly pairs, reminds you to to charge the battery. I would Recommend these MaiHear hearing ogmenting devices and very good Earbuds.
