I purchased this as a replacement for a 20 year old amp that stopped working. It was used to power 14 single 8 Ohm speakers providing music in my office with 70V output. It's hard to believe I found this powerful 500W amp that has this many features for the price, with a variety of outputs to include 70V and 100V outputs, microphone input, digital mode display, and Bluetooth capability. I’ve been using the Pyle PMX3500PH Bluetooth PA Mixing Amplifier to drive multiple speakers, and it delivers solid performance with a ton of connectivity options. Pros: Plenty of power for home setups, workshops, churches, or small venues Bluetooth works reliably and connects quickly Wide range of inputs (USB, AUX, mic, optical, coaxial) makes it easy to integrate with different sources 70V/100V output support is a big plus for distributed speaker systems Rack-mountable and feels appropriately heavy and sturdy Clear LED display for quick status checks Cons: The fan is audible in very quiet rooms (fine for PA use, noticeable in a living room) Interface and labeling are a bit dated and not very beginner-friendly Bluetooth range is decent but not exceptional Overall: This amp does exactly what it’s meant to do: provide strong, versatile amplification with lots of input options. It’s not a high-end audiophile unit, but for PA systems, background music, announcements, or mixed-use setups, it’s a great value for the power and features. I deducted one star for fan noise and the dated interface, but performance-wise it’s dependable. Note that the unit has both the mechanical volume and bass and treble adjustments, as well as digital (via the remote) and these are separate, be careful when using both as the effects add up.. Great DAC in the unit, I connect TV to this amplifier by optical fiber, this way quality is much better than trying to amplify sound signal that my TV produces.. Bluetooth is decent but it's an inherent flaw in Bluetooth protocols that sound is not all that great, it's been designed for headphones and such, with this system you can hear the difference so avoid BT as much as possible ... show more

I have returned this item twice! Very annoying gotta say. Im defiantly not trying for a third run I'll get a different brand. There is a lot of great reviews but my experience was bad luck I guess. The sound quality was awesome with music and video games but the quality is lacking. The first one they mailed me looked used and a light was out on illumination screen in front. The underpart was getting to hot too. The second one they mailed me looked used also but the coaxial did not work. The optical also started acting weird out of no where making a crazy loud noise. I turned it off and then back on 20 min later but it still acted same. The next day for some reason the optical option started working again. Not sure whats up. I bought a 3 year warranty so I hope I get my warranty money back too because this crap was an inconvenience NOT COOL!!! I hope I have better luck on my next pick. Ugh man ... show more

    • Great for 70V system BGM
Has been powering a 12-speaker 70V PA system in a large multi-room building 24 hours a day for almost 6 months and has never had an issue. Primarily used for background music, the volume had never been turned above 3 for any length of time but it has plenty of power. Small and very easy to install and setup - basically plug & play. The tuner works well but we're very limited on local stations so we mostly use an internet radio streaming device for source material. Haven't tried the microphone inputs but I'm satisfied they will work as expected. If you're looking for a basic 70V PA Amp this is a great value for the price! ... show more

    • It works great, it's not a standard 19 inches wide.
It's not 19 inches wide but it sounds great. The holes are right for rack mount but you have to create a slot. Other devices are also this width but most people expect 19 inches when it says rack mount. It drives my 10's so loud, you can't talk over them. Works just fine😊

    • Not a standard rack mount size
I'm torn between 3 star and 4 star. I was going to do 4 star, but then saw in the title it states it's a rack mount, but doesn't mention it's not standard. Purchased 2 of these to try for a couple locations and they work great. The biggest issue was even though this device has rack mount ears attached it's not suitable for a standard 19" rack and didn't think anything of it or even check size, but once I tried to rack mount it, it was very obvious that it wasn't going to work. I'm not even sure why they put rack mount ears on this. Part of me feels duped, but I also should have checked the size to verify. Luckily the 2 locations I can just use a rack mount shelf and that will work. ... show more
