We looked at several in-the-ear hearing aids for my wife and passed on the less expensive models picked this one because it was programmable hoping to get customized hearing improvement. Downloaded the application and went through the hearing test procedure seamlessly in a relatively quiet area. She did have much improvement with conversation voices.
