UPDATE FROM SELLER: they contacted me and they took care of a refund, asking for all the information about the product and some photos and videos about the issue. they were so nice and great to speak to. They told me the product is pretty new, so that’s why some problems or issues could be there since mine is probably from a first batch. I’ve noticed that with this case on, my MacBook doesn’t close completely, which has led to it losing battery a few times because it stays slightly open. It seems like some part of the case design prevents a perfect alignment, and I also hear small cracking noises when I pick it up, like some parts are moving and hitting against each other on the side of the case, which makes me think it’s not fitting quite right. Also, I don’t wanna damage my MacBook shell honestly. While the case is great at resisting scratches and fingerprints, these alignment issues really make it hard for me to keep using it comfortably. Quality is not bad overall, but I think I might go back to a different brand.

We've tried several other laptop cases that crack and break, which in my line of work, looks completely unprofessional, but this BlueSwan case is one of the best! It's durable, lightweight, and believe it or not, stylish. We punish our laptop, shoving it into a backpack from home to the work office and in and out of the back seat, but the case keeps it safe all day long. A great product at a great price!

1 month review. Great case, love the look and no fingerprints or marks. Only downside is it has already started cracking on the upper back corners without any drops or falls. I generally treat all of my gear very well so I’m surprised it’s already cracked. Still stays secured to the laptop but not sure how long it will last. Hopefully they can send a new replacement.

WARNING! I rarely write a product review, but feel compelled after my experience with the BlueSwan case. I purchased the product to protect my computer during a trip to Iceland, where I knew it could see some rough treatment. The top of the clamshell snapped into the screen without much effort. I then turned it over and slid it to the edge of my table snapped the bottom of the clamshell in place and turned it over only to see scratches on the cover. This is the minor problem but worth noteing since it says something about product quality, and over promotion. Now for the biggest issue. Because of the thinness of the Apple monitor, there is exceedingly little room for the laptop to remain closed with the upper and lower clamshell having to hook onto the case. One of the conveniences of a MacBook Pro system is its automatic ON when the case is opened. Prior to the flight, I made sure my system was off and placed it in a Think Tank rolling camera bag that is very well protected. During the flight the system turned on because of the designs small tolerance and my computer drained the entire battery, causing it to overheat. When I got to my destination, I opened the MacBook Pro and there was no response. Luckily, Apple designed safe guards into its product and I couldn't turn the system back even charge the batteries for two days, although I tried repeatedly. By the third day, I gave it one last try and it did turn on, showing a drained battery condition. Thank the Gods. I would not recommend this product to anyone who values their computer and their time. Yes, it's cheap but your computer isn't.
