The fabric allows you to customize the color to match your style, as well as extend the life of the primary filter, catching large airborne particles such as dust, lint, pollen, and pet hair. Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove visible dust and dirt as often as you'd like. Removable, washable, and reusable the pre-filter is designed to be used again and again. When it requires a deeper clean, throw the fabric in the washing machine on a gentle, low-temperature cycle. Hang to dry.

I love my Pure filters. I have 4 of the now, due to allergies (and cats). But you do need to clean (and ultimately replace) these filters from time to time, so I order them on subscribe-n-save here on Amazon. There's not that much to say about this product, other than it's a genuine replacement. I find that I like to have some spares so that I can wash them and while I do, put on a replacement set. One word of caution: when washing, your cold/gentle and then air dry. Otherwise they will shrink and become unusable. ... show more

It was easy to put on. I have not had to take it off or wash it yet and try to put it back on again so I cannot comment on whether or not it will shrink etc. etc. I can just say that at this point it fits the air purifier.

This filter was the wrong size. I needed it right away so I am using it till I get a replacement, but some of the air purifier intake holes are not covered, and thus they aren't getting the benefit of this pre-filter. A definite fail on someone's part!
