The built in graph on the back of each lined page comes in handy for project planning and quick design and "thought" sketches. I go through two or three of these notebooks a month. I love the Subject and Date feature at the top of each page. It allows me to go back through old ideas with a quick review. The page 160 count is plentiful to cover two or three weeks of note taking, while light enough to carry around in a laptop bag without the added bulk of other notebooks. Blue Sky has quickly become my favorite supplier of planners, calendars, and notebooks. I recommend them because of the price, quality, and usefulness, and this little notebook is no exception. It's nice to have a devoted place for my weekly to-do lists, which is what I use this for exclusively. The lined side is where I post weekly reminders for my classes (what to read, what needs to be graded, and what online content to set up). The grid side is where I do some preliminary planning for upcoming essays and assignments. I've been using this notebook since January of this year, and I'm around halfway through the pages. (Each semester is about fifteen weeks long, and I use two or three pages per week for my reminders and planning.) I've enjoyed using this so much that I bought another one for upcoming semesters. The notebook is made well and has held up to daily use for these last nine months. The size isn't so small as to be impractical to write in, and the covers are sturdy. When I received my notebook, unfortunately, it had some minor damage on the bottom of the book, in which scratches affected the pages and covers. It was a delivery problem, as the notebook was not covered in plastic, and therefore the packaging from Amazon was the only thing protecting the notebook. I contacted Blue Sky, and immediately after informing them of the entire situation, the kind customer support agent apologized for the inconvenience and asked me for my shipping address to directly send me a new notebook. They did not ask me to return the semi-damaged notebook, and I received a brand-new one a few business days later. This is outstanding customer service. A company that cares for their customers, even though in this case it's hard to say whos really at fault for the damages, although they handled it as in terms of customer satisfaction, and that is highly respectable.
