This is a must have if you use embroidery floss in any way. It’s smaller than expected but if you don’t have a large collection it’s perfect, I got 40 in with space. The separators can be annoying you need to insert them with care. The winder doesn’t work. It latches great

The media could not be loaded. I love this! It’s a nice smaller size but perfect for starting your embroidery thread collection. I absolutely love the thread winder! It’s super easy and quick to use. Note that it is helpful to put something heavy to weigh down the box so it doesn’t move around as you wind. The slits on the bobbins for holding the end of the thread are slightly too wide to actually hold in place, but I personally don’t mind and I just loop the end back through the thread to secure it. The bobbins are also slightly too long to lay sideways perfectly to show the thread color from above, but if you angle them slightly you can still lay them in the compartments for that view. Each compartment appears to fit three full dmc skeins, and there can be 18 compartments total if you put the extra dividers in. So you can have up to 54 bobbins each wrapped with an entire skein of dmc thread. For the price of this ($9.99usd) I think this is an amazing product and perfectly functional! It's fine if you don't have a lot of threads to store. Not a lot of space once you start to store thread. If you can find paper storing pieces (the piece you wrap the thread around) instead of the plastic, you could fit a lot more. The separators don't stay in place well and they are hard to get into the slotted tracks correctly. But it does a nice job to keep them organized. ... show more
