First off I did not buy this to be a cell phone. It's only works on 2G, which is completely shut down in the USA (except maybe PR). However I did get it to send a SMS in Vancouver Canada, where there is some 2g service still around, and there are some other parts of the world that still have 2g. But don't buy it as a cell phone, even if you have some 2g left where you live. You will be sadly disappointed. What I bought this for was to be an MP3 players and flashlight and FM radio. And for those purposes, it works great. You can listen to music and the FM radio without having to put in headphones. The speaker is surprisingly strong for a small speaker. Battery life is good, it's easy to put in your pocket and has Bluetooth, if needed, that works fine. Just a note about listing to music from an SD card, it can take a minute or two to load. Also the sound control for the radio is the * and # key, not the main button. ... show more

Why is there no SIM card.. SIM card is so cheap but it's not there. There is paper stuck to the inside of these phones and instructions to insert the SIM card but no SIM card. This means do not buy unless you live near stores where you can easily race out to buy SIM cards. I think it's ridiculous that any cell phone would be sold without a SIM card...
