On paper, the specs are great for the price, but in actual usage, this phone performed as well as or worse than an old LG K20 Plus that it was intended to replace.     • Nice but battery life is not as described

This is my 4th Blu. This one has great storage, pages load quickly and the color is clear. Video's play without a hitch. Reception is on par or better than my Galaxy 6. The Ram fills up quickly and you can tell as the search functions slow down but clearing it is easy and right back to speed. The battery life is not as great as i had hoped. It might last all day if on standby or texting but doing anything else causes it to drop. Maybe 4-6 hrs but I have not tested that as i leave it plugged in. As for that, it's in use listening to podcasts 12hrs a day (truck driver). If plugged into the radio it will slowly discharge over the course of the day to 75 - 80% unless you are careful to force stop everything else like mail, other apps etc. That's a few clicks, though. If nothing else is on it will maintain 100% all day plugged in like that listening to podcasts. I don't game or anything so can't speak to that. Volume is decent and hooked right up to my trucks bluetooth so i can listen over the speakers. WiFi pickup is impressive. Better than my Galaxy. For the price I think this phone is hard to beat.     • Calls not showing up on phone screen. Not able to answer calls until it goes to miss call.

Past reviews and complaints about this phone seemed to b very true. Took a chance thinking it was just a bad review but it appears to b true regarding incoming calls. You cant see who’s calling you on the screen and when you attempt to pick up goes to miss call. U have to review ur miss call log to see who called so if it’s an emergency u won’t know who’s calling and won’t b able to pick up. Do not buy. I need my money back. Should b price at 60.00 ... show more

Have no complaints. Satisfied with price and is just what I wanted. I'm not using face recognition or fingerprint reader. Just a little too many things to do just to open my phone. But who knows ,I might change my mind.

    • There are malfunctions about the phone

The phone is very slow and have volume problem and might resend for an exchange. The ones I bought last year was ok but the one from last week is not functioning properly and might return if problem persist.

First off, I would to state that I am a normal consumer and I purchased this phone with my own money and was not sponsored or compensated in any way to write this review, and this is my own experience with this device. Unboxing: upon opening the box, you will find the device itself, tempered glass screen protector, charging brick, charging cable (micro USB not type c), rugged case, and quick start guides. Display: it's an HD+ display, not full hd+. However, colors and content looks sharp and crisp enough for me. There is an option in display settings to twerk the colors and contrast. You have the choice between standard, automatic contrast, or increased contrast. The phone is set to increased contrast by default. The brightness of this phone could be better. I keep the slider at about 75% and seems to be just good enough in normal lighting, but in direct sunlight has to be increased to full brightness. Camera: it's a 13 mp main shooter with depth and macro sensor. With plenty of lighting, photos come out clear enough to wanna keep in your photos app. Anything less than lots of light, photos come out grainy with little to no detail at all and I found myself tapping on the trash can icon really often. The camera on this device is pretty much useless without plenty of light, but keep in mind, your paying 129.99. Performance: the phone has 3gb of ram and performed quite well and I found myself honestly surprised at the speed of loading apps and pages in the chrome browser. It's good enough for normal daily use. The call quality on this device was very good with calls sounding loud and crystal clear on both ends. I had no trouble hearing the other person and they had no trouble hearing me. I recommend turning call volume all the way up. Fingerprint sensor: I found myself touching the sensor more than one time on just about every unlocking attempt. Anything other than completely dry hands had trouble registering my fingerprint. Sweaty fingers, or wet fingers in general gave this device lots of trouble recognizing my print. Not the phones strongest feature at all and one of the worst I've ever used. This phone also has face ID as a method for unlocking, but I have not tested this feature as of yet. Build quality: definitely in my experience, on of the better features of this device. I purchased the RED variant and the build is a plastic build. It does feel cheap in hand (because it is), but also durable enough at the same time to not break easily if mistreated by accident. I will note that YOU MUST REMOVE THE BACK COVER TO INSTALL YOUR NANO SIM CARD. a sim card removal tool is not provided in the box and threw me way off upon unboxing. Also, the battery is still non removable despite having a removable back cover. PROS: nice display, great call quality, above average performance for a low price, decent build, removable back cover CONS: the camera, fingerprint sensor, no type C charging Conclusion: I recommend this phone if you don't require a great camera and are just looking for something affordable that JUST WORKS, or just buying for a child. I DON'T recommend this phone if you are looking for something that takes good pictures in all types lighting (not just good lighting), or if you require a good fingerprint sensor. ... show more
