I am not tech-savvy, but I was able to transfer my apps and pics to this new phone after I dropped and shattered my old phone. T*mobile is my provider, relatively inexpensive and helpful setting up this phone, even though I bought the phone online. It works just fine for me. Subsequent usage has made me change my recommendation. I am having to reboot this phone way too often. I use it as my kindle substitute and maybe this is causing the problem. I got the phone on Saturday. Packaging was top notch. It came with a case, screen protector, headphones and a type c charger. THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH CRICKET WIRELESS! THEY WILL SUSPEND YOUR LINE IF YOU PUT IN THE SIM. CHANGE TO MINT MOBILE INSTEAD. Once my sim is here from Mint I'll let you all know my experience. Pros It's only 150 Headphone jack Expandable memory The OS is smooth The case is ok Cons The headphones are very thin and don't sound that great. This is a replacement for my old Blu 4G which like another reviewer's phone stopped charging properly. Since I don't play games or watch movies, I don't need the fastest or latest processor. For my use (calendar, maps, banking, shopping, etc.) the phone is working fine so far. Easy to setup and Android 12 is nice. My only real complaint is the location of the volume keys across from the power/fingerprint key. I keep taking unintentional screenshots all the time. For the price, this is an awesome 5G phone. The battery life seemed to be very good. But for the life of me, I couldn't get the call to display. I tried various apps including the phone app that came with the phone. I tried various notification options but nothing worked. I rebooted the phone a couple of times also. This is a replacement for my Blu G9 Pro (2020) which I'm replacing as its charging systems have failed. This is a huge improvement in most respects. My wife has a recent (2022) Blu F91g which is very similar but with more memory, faster CPU, faster charging, remote charging. This is mostly a slight step down, but the price is $100 less. So a compromise. I wish this had Qi remote charging which has been present in my several most recent BLU phones. That is where this loses a star. Setup was easy and straight forward. This phone is pretty fast, the screen is nice, the speaker is nice and in the right place. I appreciate the headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner is very good. I played some games and it runs smoothly. Also worth noting is that this gets better reception than the $700 phone is replacing. I have 4 bars where my old phone had one or two. I have two big problems with this phone. The light on the back is very bright and stays on when the phone is plugged in. So forget plugging this thing in next to your bed while you're sleeping it's not happening. I have not figured out how to turn this off yet. (Edit) Figured it out. It's called the "breathing light". Turned it off while charging, but left it on for alerts. I kind of like it now. The second big problem I have with this phone is the case that comes with it makes the volume buttons protrude. Because of this every time I turn the phone on I take a screenshot. Sometimes just picking the phone up I take a screenshot. I went through Google photos and deleted 22 screenshots from the last 24 hours. I ordered a new case for it so we'll see if that solves the problem. ( Edit). I took an xacto and cut a hole in the case where the protruding buttons were. Problem solved until my new case arrives. Overall would I recommend the phone? Yes absolutely.
