This body wash seems to be pretty good, the scent is pleasant but also mild. The suds it produces are sort of silky but they do a pretty good job of cleansing, even tougher spots like underarm where antiperspirant can build up. I can't say how well it nourishes skin, as I don't notice that much, but overall I'm pretty pleased. The big downfall is the price, compared with store brands this is mighty pricey. Probably something I wouldn't continue to buy. The cost benefit ratio just isn't high enough for me. ... show more

It ticks me off that out of all the body washes I’ve tried this body wash works so well with my skin. Even in my late 20s I still struggle with acne. For backstory my skin is very prone to fungal acne also known as malassezia folliculitis, but this thing might just be the Devil itself. If you know, you know. In essence, my skin is always in a constant battle between fighting dry skin or break outs. This is one of the few or the only body wash that tames the breakouts in my chest and back while also retaining hydration to the unproblematic areas of my body such as my hands, belly, and lower legs. Also, I do appreciate the nice scent in this body wash which does help keep BO at bay even up to the next morning. Normally, I would need to immediately shower if I didn’t want to smell myself the entire morning. Wanted to bring this up because comparing this to Native (Body Wash I was using previously) as gross as it sounds with that body wash I could smell my BO soon after waking up. Now why am I mad if the product works so well? Well, for starters this body wash is not cheap by any means and the amount you get runs out fast (18 days max) especially if you’re showering more than twice a day. Native in comparison, not only is it more accessible but it comes in a 16oz at half the price. Usually that would hold me off an entire month and a half or sometimes even more if I use sparingly. I will say however, I use a silicone scrubber (by the way game changer if you’re a fungal acne struggler) both on my face and body. And this body wash lathers up beautifully with my silicone body brush. Unlike Native, which I have to squeeze double the amount because due to the nature of silicone it just doesn’t foam up as good compared to traditional loofahs. So Blu Atlas takes the edge here. It pains me to say I’ll likely keep repurchasing this body wash. Although, I can’t really give it 5 stars because of what I mention above. Either change the price to a $29.99 16oz bottle or do like hello Seen Body Wash and stay at $25 but at 10oz per bottle. With the 10oz, at least, it is more realistic to last the entire month. Only a matter of time before these products get turned into watered-down garbage. Foundry, the digital brand parasite that recently bought Blu Atlas, specializes in scooping up profitable brands and scaling them into so-called “household names.” Translation: they buy something great, then squeeze every ounce of profit out of it by maximizing distribution and cutting corners until the quality is ruined. ... show more

This Blu Atlas body wash is decent and good quality, but it’s very expensive for this 8 ounce size. The scent is called “Classic,” but it’s not as pleasant as I would like it to be. This scent has notes of bergamot, clary sage, and patchouli. I wish the scent was lighter and more refreshing. This body wash generates nice, foamy lather. It is made with green tea, sugarcane, aloe vera, coconut-derived emollients, shea butter, and more. I like that this body wash is vegan and cruelty free.
