PRO: Bedspread is light weight. That it is quilted makes it easy to neatly put onto the bed. This bedspread is reversible. CON: I selected a navy blue background. I liked the strong navy blue in the picture. The real color is paler, is more like the color of a blue chamber shirt. It's a nice color but don't use navy pillow cases with this bedspread.

This queen size quilt set meets all my expectations. I prefer a thin and lightweight quilt for summer but one that can be layered with a blanket for the cooler months. This set works perfectly for both in the Dallas TX area, which has limited cooler weather. The edge seams are sewn well, and the quilting is nicely done. I did not notice any loose threads on either side or on the shams. The quilt is reversible, with the darker side warming up the room a bit, while the lighter side gives the room a cooler feel during the warmer months. The shams can be used reversed as well; however, I prefer the darker quilted side. The lighter side includes the envelope style opening in which to insert the pillow. The corners of the quilt are squared rather than rounded. The size allows adequate length on either side of the mattress as well as at the foot of the bed and a turn down by the pillows. I am impressed with the quality of this set and would happily order another one if needed. I highly recommend this Bloomhaven quilt set.

I actually got this in king size for a queen size bed because I like oversized blankets and it works perfectly. I love the color, it's so earthy and inviting. It's quite lightweight, which is good because I live in FL. It washes easily and I hang it / lay it flat to dry but I do that because I want it to have longevity and it also holds the scent from the wash longer. It is soft for a quilt and in standard quilt fashion is a tad stiff but still comfortable.
