I wasn’t expecting much as I just wanted a newer (more spacious) hunting bag than my original youth day pack, but this is way better than I imagined. I have never written a review on Amazon despite my many purchases, but this is asking for a review since I was unsure whether it would satisfy my needs (I’m sure other hunters and bag buyers have doubts about this product too). The main compartment is larger than my entire old bag; then add in another large compartment with many additional pockets. I count 9 total pockets with two of those being large (there are additional zippers and slots inside the largest pocket). There is also one long one on the front that I’m not quite sure what it’s there for, but I’m sure when the season comes around I’ll find something to put in there. Pros: very spacious, many pockets to stay organized, great camo pattern (comparable to realtree edge), thick/comfortable padding, lightweight, unbeatable price Cons: straps/clips everywhere (maybe for the gun/bow mount) but not a big deal honestly Instead of spending $200 on a large bag and paying for a proven name brand, I’d recommend this bag any day as it saves money and is just as big/high quality (if not bigger and better). I will update the review once I’ve washed it and used it in the field to see how it does with scent control. If blisswell had some pics of people using this in the field and not photoshopped on a hunter I bet sales would skyrocket for this bag. I really like the color of this backpack. It has ample space, a rain cover, even comes with a hydration bladder, and includes a compass. Plus, it's very quiet, sturdy, and durable.

I loaded this pack down with trail cameras, food for the day, and a large amount of water, and it handled the weight amazingly well. There were only a couple issues. The first is the slots on the sides aren't big enough to hold a 64 ounce Nalgene. It did fit my slimmer LifeStraw perfectly. Also the water bladder slot worked perfectly. The 2nd is the chest strap popped off where it attaches to the bag. The bag still carried well even without being able to use that strap. I have not carried a bow or a rifle with it yet. Since this bag is reasonably priced I'm using it as a backup bag and possibly one I can rough up a bit. I would have rated it 5 stars if it weren't for the minor water bottle issue and somewhat more major chest strap issue listed above. ... show more

I love the comfort it brings during the hike to and from the deer blind. It keeps your hands free and padding in the straps adds an extra bit of comfort. Plenty of room for everything I need during a hunt.

I bought this to hold my bow while walking through the woods. Well, look at the pics closer, the guy has a bow that had no sight or balancer installed. Nobody does that... very misleading. Nice backpack otherwise, but not what was advertised nor what i needed.

I hunt elk in the West, that involves a lot of hiking, so a well designed pack is a must for me. This pack is poorly suited for that - it has no structure or anything more or less rigid in the back panel, causing it to become just a rounded sack when loaded, and to put pressure on your mid-back. It has no provision to secure a hydration bladder. It puts even more pressure on your mid-back with the bladder unsecured. The (supposedly) hydration bladder pocket is very large and wide as well, so even if one fashions some strap or hook to hang the hydration bladder off the top of this sack, the hydration bladder will still be able to move sideways. ... show more
