I was leary of how technical the setup would be since I am almost 70 but was pleasantly surprised. I had all 3 cameras and sync box unpacked and connected in about a half hour! Installation was very simple and the clarity of the video is astounding. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product to anyone.

If you get the solar panels the blink cameras are totally worth it. I used to only have the battery powered ones and they would die pretty frequent. The blink subscriptions are totally worth the money and the cameras are overall great. The app is very easy to use and you can talk and view through the cameras whenever you want.

THIS IS UPDATED/EDITED Rating as much for Blink support as for the devices. Will update again if anything changes, but reaction at this point is "regret." Blink network is nine cameras (seven on solar panel mounts) and two sync modules, installed three months ago. A half-dozen conversations w/ tech support; Level 1 gives information that's useless (at best) or wrong (at worst), and Level 2 actually said that Blink is an "entry-level" system that shouldn't be expected to perform as promised. Problems include: cameras stop responding to motion (all other functions work fine); devices fall off network for days at a time; audio recordings overlaid with ear-splitting feedback; false alerts on an hourly basis (i.e., at the exact same minute, hour by hour); camera batteries lasting less than three months (documentation: "up to two years"), and it's mounted on a solar panel. Level 1 support's suggestion? "Put in new batteries." Level 2 takes weeks to reply, makes appointments & fails to keep them. Finally blames "DNS errors" due to "unstable" wi-fi network. When ISP stopped laughing, their tech support's recommendation was "get new security." Looking like this is a couple of grand down the drain.

I installed these a little while ago. They where real easy to assemble and connect to the hub. Connecting with Alexa was a breeze. My only problem with these cameras, they react to motion slow. Kinda wish it would constantly record then edit like 10 seconds before motion detected and than go from there. But other than that. They work as they should and the range for the sync module is actually pretty good, better than I thought.
