I previously bought clear mats for my sink from a home goods store. From the very start, as soon as tomato sauce touched the mats, they turned yellow and looked so ugly. So glad I bought these mats. They do not show any stains on them so far. I love the color (kind of a clear black) and they go great with my stainless steel sinks.

The sink mats appear to be of good quality. They were easy to trim to fit my small sink. Only disappointment was in the color. On line they look like a bright yellow. In person, more of a gold? Yellow

This is a lot more decorative then just a plastic pad. It also has the advantage of being grey so the discoloration is hard to see until it is really bad, takes a least a year for that to happen. A little more difficult to clean then just a flat pad, but not too hard.
