This author provides helpful insight into Blender features and how to use them.
Format: Paperback
Have purchased two earlier versions of Blender for Dummies with Jason Van Gumster as author, 2009 Irst Edition and 2015 3rd Edition. I would have to wait approximately one year to review this book after spending the time going through the examples as a hobbyist with personal interest in Blender. My review here is primarily based on past experience with this author's writings. Find these books helpful in learning the ever changing features in Blender and how to use them. ... show more

A thick and detailed reference on Blender 5.0
Format: Kindle
Consulting a book the size of this one, 746 pages, including an index, many illustrations, and much clearer text than the online User Guide from Blender--this is the way to learn Blender as fast as you can. Watching dozens of YouTube videos isn't practical or efficient. Moreover, Blender 5.0 is now an extraordinarily complicated piece of software; far better to consult this book to learn the exact thing that matters to you right now, rather than watch a 10, 30, 250 minute video. I bought the Kindle version and I read it from a tablet as I do my work. ... show more

Not very good
Format: Paperback
Not a good reference nor a good tutorial. Walls of text. I wish I hadn't bought this.
