  • Great for starting out in Blender 4
This is exactly what I was looking for: a straight-forward guide to getting up to speed in Blender 4. With this book you'll have a very good grasp of how to use Blender so you can then dive into more advanced topics like character creation or prop modeling. Why this instead of a Youtube tutorial? This book explains each concept succinctly and you can then go and explore the concept in Blender and maybe go back to the book if you didn't fully grasp it. Additionally, this one comprehensive book is by one author with one vision-- so you don't need to go around collecting Youtube tutorials to get a full view. I have always been partial to learning by books, so this was a great find. ... show more

I feel like the online docs at the Blender website are probably more useful - and those are free. ... show more
