We bought this early for our wedding. The idea is cute, and in theory, this frame is too! We filled the frame during our ceremony, and literally that night we noticed it leaking sand. The leak increased until we couldn't even display it standing up anymore as sand went EVERYWHERE. We didn't even fill the full frame, but the frame couldn't take it. I came to reach out and I was already past my return window. Either way, it was meant to hold a memory and if I COULD return it, it wouldn't bring back that part of our wedding. The small frame for the picture is not straight and you can see the glue. This was the only blended family frame I could find though.
