I recently bought a Cricut Joy Xtra, so I could make my own planner stickers, greeting cards, and gift tags. One thing I wanted to do was make cute labels for the cannisters that hold my dog's treats and food, and while I wasn't really concerned with them being waterproof, I did want them to last without getting all roughed up and discolored over time. This clear vinyl overlay looked like a good solution, and the price was more than fair. I'm happy to say it worked wonderfully! I was a little nervous after a terrible experience with Cricut's own Printable Holographic Sticker Paper. Despite using Cricut's setting specifically for that paper & holographic vinyl, it just never cut correctly, so I kind of expected a similar experience this time. With that in mind, I used a cheap, thin sticker paper that I thought I had no use for and gave this stuff a try. First, I printed my labels on that cheap paper, and then I applied this vinyl layer with a brayer. It went on so smoothly with no bubble or problems at all. When it came to cutting with my Cricut, I tried the Cricut Sticker Paper (green backing) setting, since that sticker paper is unusually thick, and I figured the thin paper I was using + the vinyl layer would be about equal to that. That first cut was just a tad shallow, so I gave it another try, this time using the same paper setting but changing the pressure from "default" to "more." And that's all it took! This time, the labels were perfectly kiss cut and came off cleanly. I immediately applied them to the cannisters, and they look awesome! ... show more

I got this to laminate my stickers and it turns out beautiful every time. The adhesion is very strong, so do be careful when applying it because once it's stuck, there's no redoing it. I use a lamination machine on cold and it works perfectly. Cuts well using my Siser Juliet. The glitter has a matte finish but it doesn't dull the colors at all. It shines the best under direct sunlight and is absolutely gorgeous. It is quite thin so it's not going to do much in the way of adding durability, but it's better than no lamination at all. ... show more

Came in good condition, and I love how thin it is since it doesn’t dull the image!! Most laminated holographic paper tends to “fog up” the artwork so I’m glad this is as thin despite the texture. The glitter looks great but it’s only visible in direct light (practically looks invisible in darker areas). Definitely worth it to give your homemade stickers some edge. I can't speak for long term stability but for now it worked great for my laminated badge project, stood up to a grommet tool going through it multiple times and it didn't affect the seal. Stuck to the paper and itself nicely, cut well. I was worried about the transparency given the product photo, but it's actually an okay amount of glitter and still left everything visible enough. My only two complaints and why it lost a point with me is firstly, the backing is fairly difficult to get off cleanly, i had one sheet where i couldn't get an edge to come up no matter what I did to it. Secondly the sheets absolutely REEKED when I initially took them out of the packaging. If you intend to work with them, plan in an hour or so to let the product air out ... show more
