I bought this for my Blackvue DR650GW-2 as a last resort because EVERY other card I purchased didn't seem to stop the dashcam from randomly rebooting while driving. Although somewhat better on the rebooting issue, the Blackvue SD card has not stopped it completely. I've already spent a small fortune in SD cards and I'm ready to chuck the whole system out the window altogether. ***EDIT 7-1-18*** On a whim, I bought a new DC power cord for $20 as I had read in a review somewhere (I drove myself nuts reading EVERY review I could get my hands on) that his Blackvue Power Magic Pro turned out to be the issue. Once I disconnected my Power Magic Pro and hooked up the new cig power cord, my unit hasn't restarted even once. I now have a slew of high endurance micro SD cards but at least my unit is functioning as before. ... show more

If you using Blackview Camera then just buy this memory card coz I guarantee you that none of the other brand memory card will work in that camera. So save your time and buy this chip.

Two weeks ago I got the check SD card message and wasn't able to do anything with it since it's write protected for some reason and now I'm not able to upgrade the firmware even though it's not giving errors when upgrading OTA via app. ... show more

The card completely got corrupted within one month. One day my camera just refused to turn on. I tried turning my car off and on and unplugging the camera but nothing would get it to turn back on. I let it slide for two days to see if something would magically happen and sure enough, the camera powered on the next day; however, it kept telling me to check my SD Card. I took it out, put it into my laptop, and tried to reset it using the blackvue software and windows itself. Every time I plugged it into my laptop it froze my entire PC. After waiting about 20 minutes I slowly started regaining functionality. The only issue was I could not actually open the card in file explorer. I would double click on it and nothing would happen. I soon came to realize that my OS was just reading the card very slowly. It would literally take about 20 minutes to just open it in file explorer etc. The same went for the black vue software. After a couple of hours of waiting and crawling through the menus I finally got the blackvue software to attempt to format the card. After it tried formatting I got some error stating it could not finish the format. I then tried formatting via windows and that did not work either. I then tried using diskpart and even that did not work. It said there was some IO issue. Long story short, I could not fix it. It was beyond repair. I had a somewhat difficult time getting a refund as Amazon sent me to the manufacturer and then the manufacturer sent me back to amazon in an effort to find the supplier so I can talk to them. Ultimately Amazon took it back and refunded me. There is a samsung high performance card for $35 dollars and is the same size. It says in the description it is made for high performance dashcams and security cameras. Looking at those reviews it looks like lots of people use it on their blackvues. I would recommend going that route. My installer also told me I should not have gotten that card as a lot of his customers claim their black vue cards fail. Be warned. ... show more

I've had my Blackvue Camera for few years. First chip went out in it and this was my first replacement. It's still going after a year of continuous re-writes. Works well, quality is good; even though it's been sitting in the hot Texas Sun.

    • 2 cards lasted less than a week. Replacement died within a day.

package came in a plastic bag (Non anti-static) but in a case with a MicroSD to SD-Card adapter. I intended on using this product with a BlackVue DR900s 4K Dual Dash-Cam, however the DashCam has been burning out these cards left and right, ever since upgrading the firmware to 1.012. DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OF YOUR BLACKVUE CAMERA. THEY RELEASED A BOTCHED UPDATE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THESE "High Endurance" MicroSD CARDS. I ordered one of these over a year ago, and it lasted 17 months. Then it bricked a week after updating the BlackVue DashCam firmware. ... show more
