I have never had a built in griddle on a stovetop before. I followed the manufacturers suggestion on mild cleaning process but it became discolored with previously cooked on black and brown gunk that did not come off after doing the recommended mild cleaning. The coating on the grill was sticking to subsequent foods I cooked. So, I bought these scrubbers as well as a food safe grill cleaning solution. The solution worked well as directed but I was not aware how hot the scrubber would get after rubbing on the grill surface. Be warned....wear heavy rubber gloves when using the scrubbers on the hot grill. Otherwise, the scrubbers worked as promised and the grill looks like new. ... show more
