This hood was a great addition to my 22-inch Blackstone. It was simple to install once I figured out it was easier to disregard the instructions and take the brackets off the lid first and fasten them to the grill body before re-attaching the lid to the brackets. The hood is sturdy and does a great job of holding the heat in. It really speeds up the cooking process. It looks good and will do a nice job of protecting the grill since I leave it outside most of the time. So far I am very happy with this purchase. I think they should just include the hood in the first place, but I won't complain since I got the griddle on clearance for a good price. ... show more

We love the hood! Great addition to our Blackstone griddle! Nice quality. Opens and shuts smoothly. Reduces time to heat the griddle. Keeps dirt out when storing the griddle. However, there is no way this hood could be installed using the instructions provided. We literally had repackaged the hood to return it because we couldn't attach it per the instructions. We figured it was the wrong hood for our 22-inch griddle. But once we confirmed it was the correct hood, we re-engineered how to attach it (ignoring the instructions) and it went on fairly easily. ... show more
