  • Not as bad as some reviews state. (Use anti-seize)
Tons of people complaining about this tool being cheap or seizing up... obviously these people have very little mechanical experience (never install hardware dry). The quality of the device itself will get the job done and most likely last many jobs, do yourself a favor and buy a small bottle of anti-seize and apply anti-seize to all hardware during assembly, also remove the polyurethane wheel and apply antiseize to the hardware as well, as there is none. This will all the tool to function smoothly and prevent the main screw from seizing up. The assembly instructions on the other hand are not the greatest but there are plenty of videos out there that will navigate you through the assembly process. As for the function, it does exactly as intended. If you need a cheap fender roller and have some basic mechanical experience, I'd definitely recommend this tool. ... show more

  • I’d rather use a bat
You might be better off with a baseball bat on your fenders if you can’t afford the real tool instead of this cheap remake. Tool kept braking due to cheap materials had to readjust several times and couldn’t use much force which is its intended purpose. No instructions included had to look up how to put together on YouTube. ... show more

  • A inexpensive exceptional tool!
I bought this because it was cheap and worth a shot. I have used it for what I purchased it for and thought it worked phenomenally for the price of it. It requires some physical labor to operate but does what it’s intended for at a low price.

  • It rolls fenders.
It's not super high quality as far as I can tell. I used it on an E36 M3 with no fitment issues (5x120). Similar to another reviewer, I had a problem with the lock nut on the back falling off during use. I ended up using a touch of Loctite 262 with just a few threads engaged. Don't put loctite and run the nut all the way up to the washer; otherwise the propelling screw will bind up during operation. See the picture for how much gap there was. This way, the nut is held in place but will not squeeze the two washers together making it hard for the propelling arm to turn. I also thought about using a set screw on the washer but the loctite seems to be working just fine. I also put some permatex anti-seize on the threads of the propelling arm and the function is much smoother now. Pretty happy with it now! ... show more

  • Good till you abuse it
Purchased to roll the rear quarter lips on a 69 chevelle. I was honestly kinda shocked as to how well it operated on the first side, However by the time I got to the other Side the threaded rod adjustment handle started to gall and fail, becoming very difficult to operate. I probably put too much force on it while using the tool, If I had taken a bit more time I’m sure it would have operated just fine. I replaced the parts that failed with good hardened fine thread b7 all thread and a new nut. (I own a machine shop, this would not be possible for the average guy without a Lathe and mill) All in all, I’d say it’s a very usable tool, Probably really so if you own some kinda jap or other foreign tin can crap car that doesn’t have thick sheet metal. And for godsakes if you do own one of those cars, watch your damn fingers, skinny jeans aren’t very good at soaking up blood. ... show more

  • Works well once aligned correctly.
Easy enough to put together. If you can't figure it out, you probably shouldn't be working on cars. I did struggle at first use to keep it tight enough to prevent the roller from falling down and losing pressure against the fender. Once I figured out how to angle the roller so it stayed tight, then the process was simple and worked well. Saved me double $ from other sources. ... show more

  • It worked great.. it did the job
Fast shipping it also did the job….I had no problems at all after a few modifications it works like the Eastwood one that cost more money I also would like to point out is grease all the moving parts and grease the warm gear it will make it work much more smoothly, I also had to grind open more the holes where the wheel lug nuts bolt on I only did 2 ..I used 2 lug nuts to do the job I did 1 on opposite sides I used this product on a Audi b8 model where you only have to do the front only the rear panels don’t have a lip …also use a heat gun and warm up the paint so you don’t crack the paint and makes the job much more easier I did about 8 to 9 passes before the lip was tucked in…agin great product it worked for me and all the welds where good on the one I got ..it’s a keeper ... show more

  • WONT WORK WITH SMALL COMPACT CARS
DONT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER VEHICLE!!!! This tool was absolutely horrible for my application (1995 corolla) . Its as if its only intended for pulling fenders on lifted trucks. To get any sort of outward pressure on the inner fender lip from this tool would require the nut on the end of the adjusting rod to be backed out so far that it would routinely fall off. I ended up just using a bat. This is a TERRIBLE waste of $50. Ive always been a cheap-skate tool buyer and this is the first time ive truly regretted it. Ive never even written a review before. Thats how mad this junk made me. ... show more
