By far the best phone I ever had. I always require a physical keyboard because it's works better for me than any digital keyboard but I like Android OS too! The Priv it's upgradable to Android 6.1, wish is still pretty decent by today. Also the phone it's decently fast and have enough memory to handle everything I have throw at it for now. Battery duration it's pretty good considering i'm a very heavy user. The only thing I wish on this phone is Android 7.0. I see the phone specs and I don't understand why Blackberry dont make it upgradeable since the specs can handle Android 7.0. Works perfect with ClaroPR (Puerto Rico) at full LTE speeds. ... show more

Great looking phone. Classic clean BlackBerry design, love the curved screen. Materials aren't so impressive, but feels well made. The slide is smooth as butter and glides right into place. And this keyboard, c'mon! Retains BlackBerry features like Hub - seems you love or hate it. Otherwise it leaves Android mostly stock. The bad includes no official Android 7 update, not that fast, and short battery life. Bottom line if you were ever a BlackBerry fan you'll appreciate the Priv, otherwise probably not so much. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Device functions are at best opaque and non-intuitive -- at worst there are several basic functions (for example, enterprise compatibility) that have been impossible to deploy. The customer support line promised by Blackberry for PRIV in their written documentation accompanying the device was shut down almost upon launching the device, leaving no recourse for assistance for customers who based their purchase on the availability of live support. BB also denies support for new/unused devices not purchased directly through them, a fact that should be alerted to purchasers if not by third-party sellers than certainly in the paperwork that accompanies this device that is frankly reduced to an overpriced paperweight. ... show more

Same day delivery with AP on a Sunday! Had my other BlackBerry Priv phone water damaged from the night before. Was back up and running for business on Monday morning like nothing happened. With the Android operating system and all info backed up with Google cloud it was like nothing happened. Put the water damaged old Priv in a bag of rice for the week while I was traveling for work and it fired back up no problem when I returned the following weekend. 5 stars to Blackberry 5 stars to Android & Google 5 stars to Amazon Prime (AP) ... show more

I am a BB fan but tired of the system BB 10 incompatibility with most apps, including WhatsApp, Waze and Uber. Thank god for this Android phone with the BB advantages, mainly the physical keyboard, safety and fast email management. I just updated to 6.0.1 Android System. My STV100-4 works as expected, 4G or LTE, abroad USA. I have no complaint, altough the battery hardly lasts 1 day. all my life I have been a customer of blackberry, I have a blacberry priv and everything was perfect until a few days ago I really liked the phone and touch keyboard. Now it turns out that the blackberry priv will no longer receive updates to android, that we are going to stay in the marshmallow and already will not scale to a newer android update, down us that is very bad, I will never buy a blackberry again. it is a shame. I love this phone. I only used it for two Months. I thought i got a phone already. It's always getting hot when answering a call. Last night i receive alert to update my software and i did click yes, now it wont come up. keep showing blue blink light. I have tried all options to fix it i found online, there seems to be no hope.
