By far the best phone I ever had. I always require a physical keyboard because it's works better for me than any digital keyboard but I like Android OS too! The Priv it's upgradable to Android 6.1, wish is still pretty decent by today. Also the phone it's decently fast and have enough memory to handle everything I have throw at it for now. Battery duration it's pretty good considering i'm a very heavy user. The only thing I wish on this phone is Android 7.0. I see the phone specs and I don't understand why Blackberry dont make it upgradeable since the specs can handle Android 7.0. Works perfect with ClaroPR (Puerto Rico) at full LTE speeds. ... show more

    • Trouble Updateing the Phone Software
Had trouble with this phone right out of the box. The phone would now allow me to update its software. Each time I tried to update the software, the phone crashed. Not only would it not allow me to update, it would not connect to the home WIFI. As a result, while trying to update the phone software, ALL of our AT&T data was used up and we incurred an additional $30 in Data charges from our cellphone provider, and still the phone would not update the software.     • Great design, poor heat management
Good phone. If you use instagram, it will freeze. Phone gets hot quickly from heavy usage. However for checking emails and Facebook with Twitter works well. Phone calls are clear. Still using the PRIV, but I recommend the blackberry motion instead.

Same day delivery with AP on a Sunday! Had my other BlackBerry Priv phone water damaged from the night before. Was back up and running for business on Monday morning like nothing happened. With the Android operating system and all info backed up with Google cloud it was like nothing happened. Put the water damaged old Priv in a bag of rice for the week while I was traveling for work and it fired back up no problem when I returned the following weekend. 5 stars to Blackberry 5 stars to Android & Google 5 stars to Amazon Prime (AP) ... show more

I am a BB fan but tired of the system BB 10 incompatibility with most apps, including WhatsApp, Waze and Uber. Thank god for this Android phone with the BB advantages, mainly the physical keyboard, safety and fast email management. I just updated to 6.0.1 Android System. My STV100-4 works as expected, 4G or LTE, abroad USA. I have no complaint, altough the battery hardly lasts 1 day.     • The very best of all untlil they cancel the android's updates, now is worthless.
all my life I have been a customer of blackberry, I have a blacberry priv and everything was perfect until a few days ago I really liked the phone and touch keyboard. Now it turns out that the blackberry priv will no longer receive updates to android, that we are going to stay in the marshmallow and already will not scale to a newer android update, down us that is very bad, I will never buy a blackberry again. it is a shame. I love it! Nothing else can describe this device and it's features. The only thing, which was my mistake, and perhaps a word of caution for others considering the Blackberry PRIV, in ordering the international version, the AC plug is not the standard 110V type, but no problem at all as the USB can adapt to others easily. ... show more
