I would have given this a 5. I purchased this and did not realize that there was more than one version of the Blackberry KEY2. I could not understand why the charger did not work and I could barely hear anyone. The holes on the bottom need to be widened for a KEY2 LE, which is what I recently purchased. Also, the opening on the top where the headset/earbud jack would get plugged into. I took an exacto knife and gently and patiently widened the speaker openings and the opening for both the power cord and the jack and it now fits and is functional and my phone is protected. I did look at the other cases on the market and feel this is still the better one and I would chose to modify this since I did not see a structurally comparable protective case for the KEY2 LE. Overall, I feel this was a pretty good case for the price. The case is pretty stout for how cheap it is. My only real issues where the headphone plug is. On my phone (BBE100-5 Hardware version 04) this case blocked it. For 15 bucks, I took a Dremel to it and bam, good as new. It might be just my phone though as my screen protectors were a bit off as well. The people complaining about the charging cable not fitting should buy a new cable. I have 2 and the one that came from BB worked just fine. It would be impossible for these guys to promise 100% compatibility with all cables. You can also just take a Dremel to that if needed. for 15 bucks, the quality is worth it. If this was a $50 case, the tone of this review would be much more different. ... show more

I've used the case for several weeks now and it's holding up well. Better than the last case I tried. My only want is that this case could use a kick stand to hold it up when I want my hands free. I use this paired with glass screen protectors and my phone stays in pristine condition.

Pretty satisfied with this case, the texture is great and it actually makes the buttons on the side of the phone easier to use. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hole in the case for the headphone jack doesn't quite line up correctly and there is just a smidge of the jack hole covered up by the case, so using earbuds with this case seems to not be possible unless you grind down that part of the case a very small amount. I don't use earbuds with my phone so I don't care, however if you use them a lot then this case isn't for you unless you're willing to do a little bit of grinding or sanding type work. ... show more

This is a great case for the Key2. Protects when you place the phone face down on a table; feels good in the hand and will even fit into my belt case making it easier to remove from the belt case. But the single biggest advantage of this case (for me at least) is the molded in button "covers" on the side. The Convenience key on the Key2 is so sensitive that almost every time I picked the phone up I would press it. It became so annoying that I disabled the key. The stiffness of the button covers on this case totally eliminate that problem. Now I press the button when I want to press it. Great Case! ... show more

The case looks great on the phone. I haven't had it long but I've dropped my phone a couple of times by accident. The case did a pretty good job of protecting from desk height falls and slipping from my pocket while standing. The case still looks good and it didn't budge like how some other cases can pop off when dropped. The case also doesn't bulk up the phone or make it harder to hold. I can't speak for the long-term wear or durability as I have not had the case a long time but for the price, you can't beat the quality. ... show more

Just received and installed the case today. Obviously, whether or not it is durable remains to be seen. That said, it was a simple install; It looks good; and it no longer has a problem with blocking ports, speaker/mics, etc. Pay no attention to reviewers stating otherwise. There is at least one review with pics of this case with a phone that is NOT a KEY2. I'm happy with this and recommend it. ... show more
