I bought this to hang clothes fresh from the dryer in my laundry room. I needed approximately 9' of rod from wall to wall. This item was the perfect/adjustable length. It came with 3 interlocking rods as needed. I used all three. It was very easy to assemble, following the directions. It was a little tricky hanging it by myself, but I managed. It would have been easier with another person helping since it's so long. I've been using it for several weeks and it has proven to be very sturdy, so far. I wouldn't consider this an actual tension rod in the true sense (no springs)--this has fixed lengths that adjust by pins locking in holes plus a twist of the end cap to compensate for a little extra length that may be needed. I was a little skeptical at first, but happy it works and is still holding strong. I wish I had bought this much sooner.

As of today, this is a really good rod to purchase. But just know that once it's put up,it's not easy to take back down. My advice is to make sure that you put your seasonal curtains of your choice on the rod while you are testing out the rod. Lol. Good thing I had already purchased my spring/summer curtains.

These are great and sturdy, hanging toddler clothes at 72” long. The other rod will be for 30” curtains. larger surface ends for good tension setting. Wish the ends weren’t plastic though

I have a 7 ft space I use as a clothes rack to dry my husband's dress shirts. I bought the 4-10 ft version and it works like a charm. No flexing, bending or slipping. I would definitely recommend this product. Pleas keep in mind that the maximum load I have on this rod is limited, so milage may vary.
