I love the concept of this net but do not like the small holes in the netting. I spend to much time getting my hooks out of the netting because of the tiny holes. The holes need to be bigger and it would almost eliminate the problem

Alot of mixed reviews but id say im very impressed with the quality of this landing net for the price. Fold up really nice, handle is sturdy,netting is great! Definitely worth the $$$$!!!!!

This is a great fishing net that can be used for multiple items including fly fishing, boat fishing or even simply shoreline fishing. The net is super soft and flexible as well as being lightweight which is great if you are carrying this net around all day or taking an extended fishing trip into some remote location. It seems well constructed and can hold a very large fish with ease while you work to remove the hook from its mouth. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good all around fishing net.

Best fishing net ever! I impressed my husband with this one. His other one was an old bulky one because he couldn't find a newer one he thought was sturdy enough. This one collapses for travel and storage . The net is really tough. It floats. The handle gets longer. I think he wants to marry it.

As a kayak fisher more than other methods, I found this net to be a very welcome addition to my setup. Space on a kayak is limited, so I am always looking for products that are compact. This net fits the bill nicely. The net expands from a folded up state to fully open quite easily and will help when you forget to expand it before landing a fish. Leaving it open and extended is always an option if you have extra pole holders you are not using, but for transport, the folding is a huge benefit. There is nothing in the description in how much weight it can hold, but I tested putting 2 10.5 lbs (21 lbs total) bas of cat litter in it for testing. When loading with the handle pointing straight up, it handled the load easily without much stress on the frame. When lifting outward, the stress on the frame and pole was significant, but there was no breakage. I didn't try to extend it fully horizontal since the slight angle was putting enough stress on it. In reality, you will almost never be trying to lift this out of the water fully horizontal, so that is not much of an issue. From a freshwater fishing standpoint, if it will fit in the net, you should be able to pull it out with this. I am very happy with this net and can't wait to get it out on the water. I did not test the buoyancy, but I have little doubt it will float as advertised.

This is a nice net. It folds and unfolds very easily. It snaps solidly into the open position. It is a good size for general use, and folds to a convenient small size. The netting is made of rubber. I like it because it seems durable and easy on the fish. It is comfortable to hold and use. I've landed large and small fish in my kayak with it. I would have likely lost the larger bass in my photos without the net. My only problem is that the rubber grip on the handle gets so wide that it can slide easily into the standard sized rod holder on my kayak. I can jam it in there, but that makes it hard to get it out when I need it. I think this is a common way to carry a net like this, and they could have rounded off the grip a little without taking anything away from the function of the net. If it had a little less rubber padding on the handle, then it would be perfect.
