Initially I didn't like this product. I wanted wood frames etc etc. So, I went out and got wood frames with REAL glass. I was excited. Then the wood frames couldn’t hold double LPs.. or, some of the wood frames weren't cut evenly. These were expensive wood frames... Surely the glass is better you say. Until putting them in, one mistake and broken. 2 broken glass frames later i switched. These hold double even triple size lps. They have acrylic shielding wraps, just take them off and bam, clear as glass. Oh and no, they're not flimsy. I did this and glass, and managed to break the glass. And some reviewers put, " the metal backs scratched my vinyls!" Well, you see, it comes with a paper advertising... you put that between your vinyl and the back... look at that, they thought of everything. Wish I could give more stars. ... show more

We were given an old record player, and wanted a way to display our albums. Some are double albums, and we were worried they might not fit. Because of the way these load, they even fit the thickest covers (and the vinyl is still in the covers!). I’m not sure if the plexiglass is glossy or matte - it has a peel off film to keep it from scratching during shipping. I like the matte finish, so I left the cover on. I bought a 4 pack and a 2 pack, and will purchase a couple more to fill up the wall space. Super happy with this purchase! ... show more

Ignore the negative reviews that talk about the glass being cloudy. As you can see it says right on there....there is protective film on both sides, and it should be removed. Once you remove the film, it's very clear. Some reviews have mentioned that the plexiglass breaks too easy and the frame falls apart. Honestly, just do the whole set up with ease and care. If you manhandle it and rush to try to set it up in 5 seconds, then you will probably break the glass, the frame and/or the hanging clips in the back. Because the backing has the spring style hooks, you can fit a single lp or even a double lp record with ease. Overall, low price, good quality, looks nice. Use common sense when setting it up and you'll be happy with the results. ... show more

This is not only a great product, but a great value. The frames are sturdy and well-made and it's so easy to pop in whatever you're framing. I realize they're advertised for records, but I had some square art that needed framing and these are perfect. The backs are somewhat spring-loaded so that the backing presses into the art so it stays put and you can hang them off of any four of the prongs. This frame will hold a double lp with no problem. It has a sturdy hanger. Personally, I appreciate the thin plexiglass instead of actual glass. It came packaged very well. It’s exactly what I was wanting, very pleased with purchase. I bought the frame due to other reviews stating that it would hold a double lp. These have clever spring clips that hold the LP in from the back, to accomodate for LPs of different thickness. They can fit a single record, double, or even triple with no problem. It's also pretty quick and easy to remove the record, when you actually want to listen to it. Make sure and peel off the protective film from the clear plastic sheet, otherwise it looks hazy. ... show more

Like many other reviews it is of most important to note the clear plastic used is very delicate! One of the frames arrived with a corner chipped off. HOWEVER. The chip was very minor and can not be seen when places in its proper spot. Since I have no intentions of handling/throwing them around now that I have them hung up in a place I find suitable I didn’t feel this merited a bad review or a knock on a star. The overall package is fantastic for the price! It’s a frame, doesn’t need to do anything else other than to display your favorite albums, to which it does wonderfully.
