This works perfectly. Install with ample soapy water and an extra set of hands. Cut to close the right size and shape before applying to the window goes a long way to alleviate headaches and bad cuts. It's a tad blurry but so much better quality than 20 plus years ago and I think its barely noticeable. Yeah you can get a ceramic coat that is absolutely perfect for a lot of money. But for a few bucks and a little time and a lot of patience this works great, especially on an older car that you will likely sell in a few years. Or if you're going super dark in a state that doesn't let you go dark. Pop it off then reapply again later. :) If you're using this on your driver and passenger front sides consider getting the matching precut windshield strip. I used this very dark cling tint on my truck camper shell. It was very easy to install and functioned to blackout the interior of the shell. I would not recommend putting this on auto glass as it thick and therefore distorts the view looking out.

I bought this Film because the idea of a reusable, static-cling tint sounded perfect . While it definitely delivers on shade and privacy, living with it has revealed some notable issues. The major issue is the visual quality of the material itself. Because this is a thicker (PVC) static-cling film rather than a traditional adhesive tint, it creates a slightly blurry, "orange peel" distortion when you look through it Additionally, getting the edges to stay down perfectly is a battle. Because it relies purely on static cling without glue, the edges tend to curl and peel back . Cutting a perfectly straight, clean edge around curved glass is incredibly difficult for a DIYer. Any minor jagged edge or speck of dust caught underneath causes an immediate bubble that ruins the static bond. ... show more

I bought this to teach myself how to tint. Now, I only use this. If you use it just as regular tint, it's very easy to use. Really thick so it's hard to scratch and makes it hard to over cook with a heat gun! NOT for windshields as it seems to glare the more of an angle you have it. Would use for sun strip, just not the whole windshield. Seems to be only one of two companies offering static-cling and it's a shame there's not more tech. going into these. ... show more

You get what you pay for when it comes to stuff like this. It worked for temporary purposes but ended up getting stuck everytime i rolled my window up and down. The tint was dark on both the inside out unlike my tint I got installed at a shop is almost clear on the inside during the day and dark on the outside. It’s nice that it’s removable and you can stick it back on. But other than that yea you get what u pay for when ur comes to stuff like this not the best definitely not the worst. It’s very easy to install with just basic stuff ie soapy water and a credit card. However it doesn’t always stick the best I noticed but it gets the job done I guess ... show more
