I did not have to mix to get the color black right, which is cool..... worked well so far on a small seat repair in sons car. Hope it holds up over time well.... easy to use (I prefer rubber glove finger vs. the tiny brush they provided). Good value too.

Not as smooth as shown; probably should’ve used a spatula instead of the tiny plastic it comes with. Car seat repair looks clumpy. Oh well…

This leather repair kit has the black pigment tubes along with the leather conditioning wax. Both work to re-color and re-condition the leather to hopefully restore it back to its original vitality. Here are some pros and cons to consider. Pros: - Not only does this re-condition, it also re-colors. The color intensity is a mix of black and whites and shades of color in between. - The pigment tubes are generously sized. I just wish there were more of the conditioning agent to work with. Cons: - There was a strong chemical smell with the re-coloring pigment chemicals. Use it in an area that is well ventilated to avoid breathing in the gases. Overall, I do recommend this leather repair kit because it also contains tubes of re-coloring agents.

I got this vinyl and leather repair kit for my car seats, and it's tremendous. The directions are excellent; they tell you just how to mix the colors with the conditioning agent so this home repair kit covers damaged spots completely. What I appreciate most about this little kit is that it's saved me from having to buy expensive leather seat covers just to hide a few small spots of wear and tear in the original seats.
